Waht, my SSN? Yeah, I know it. It's...hey wait a minute! Trying to steal my identity, eh? I'm on to your game (you just lost the game).

Yeah, but I just did a lot of paperwork recently. Between getting a job, going to school, and registering to vote, I sort of memorized it simply through using it a bunch.

Then again, I'm good at memorizing stupid numbers like that. I have my DCI number memorized but not my driver's license number.

I hadn't really considered mine until I moved out of my parents house. I was 16, about 17; decided it was a fairly good thing to memorize. So yes, I've known mine for awhile.

I didn't vote because I am older than 27, but I knew it by the time I was 20 due to being in the military, where it doubles as your ID number.

I have to use it for pretty much all school-related stuff on the internet. As well as every time I pay for stuff on the internet. So yeah, I remember it.

I've known mine since I was about 9-years-old. My school based lunch tabs on your SSN, which in retrospect is a completely fucking terrible idea. If those lunch ladies wanted to play the long con...hundreds of social security numbers with daily chances to get them.

They later figured out that maybe a student ID number would be a better idea.

I memorized mine when i was 17. I can recall it with no trouble at all. I have to use it all the time for paperwork.

Seems like every three seconds the government wants your SSN when you are doing paperwork

well... here its the ID number, which is your birthday and a suffix... so rather easy to remember...

fun fact: if you change your gender, your suffix changes too, as a suffix which adds up to an odd number denotes male, and a suffix that adds up to an even number denotes female

I am 20 now. I did not actually learn my SS number until I started working as a film extra last year and I have to write it down about 3 different times on every set. Otherwise I probably never would have learned it.

I'm thinking that the equivalent of this in the UK is National Insurance, and yes, I've known it off by heart since I got mine.

I guessing that is something similar to the National Insurance Number in the UK?
In that case yes but only because the jobcentre require that number off from you (I was unemployed) so I end up memorising it repeatition.

Why do you want to know? This seems like an elaborate ruse to get me to tell you my social security number, then steal my identity, then use it to destroy the world. I've got my eye on you.

But to answer your question, yes.
How would stealing your identity give someone the power to destroy the world? What mad power do you wield, talking bear?!

Yes, I do my own SSN because I'm in the military. Life would suck for me if I didn't know it.

yeah, my mom wrote it down once for me when i was like 14 and memorized it since then

it's easy, it's just ***-**-****

unfortunately the internet doesn't let anyone else see your SSN when you type it in..

I hope that doesn't account for some kind of mod wrath, just making a joke like back in the good ole runescape days..
