Poll: modern warfare 2, day 1 purchase?

well fortunately for me i live in america so it still costs $60 and i play games on consoles so i really dont give a fuck about dedicated servers. so yes i will be getting it on day 1, ive had it preordered for about 6 months now.

A store in town is offering a deal, trade 3 360 or ps3 games with a minimum trade-in value of $9 each and receive modern warfare for free. Thus I plan on getting it on the first day.

I already traded in a few games for the money to Pre-Order it. So yeah im getting it on day one because i know I'll eventually get the game, why not now instead of waiting 4 years for them to drop the price more than $20 (look at CoD 4)

That sir, is what I am going to be doing. I will wait on a review before going anywhere near that game. It doesn't look too different from CoD4 and I have zero faith that this franchise won't be rushed to market and rely soly on brand name and fanboys pre-ordering it for sales.

I hope its good, I enjoyed CoD4, but I'm not buying it no questions asked day 1.

just curious when folk are planning on getting this game?

as i have noticed its going to be £55 and thats just for the standard game ...which i found rediculous also find it a bad thing if it doesend up selling well and activision decides to bump up the prices to all its big sellers?

i decided to hold it off untill the price drops or if i manage to complete a couple of my games to trade them in

Yeah its fucking stupid, but im getting it day one. Pre-ordered at gamestation. I would get it for £45 on play.com but I dont trust the postal service at the moment.
