I've been through 4 gaming phases that all felt like "first times."
1987. We were allowed to play PC games at school. You can imagine how crappy they were. I mostly remember Papaer Boy, Carmen Sandiego, & Oregon Trail.
1992-1995: (Somewhere around there) is when I played on both a Sega Genesis & an SNES. It was actually a child doctor or dentist that had "Duck Hunt" that made me want to play.
1998-2001" My Next-gen console/Better PC games introduction. My gamer friend Shanna had 3 different consoles & some PC games too. I was introduced to (& subsequently turned-off by) 3D games. I also played my first MMO: Furcadia. I mostly remember playing Goldeneye, Tony Hawk, some funny WWF game, Star Wars games, Heroes of Might & Magic 3 & 4, Sim City 3000 Unlimited, Castlevania, & The Sims. She also had the short-lived Sega Channel.
2005-2007: I finally embrace 3D games, & get addicted to fantasy RPGs. I'm also introduced to "casual games" which are only fun for a short while. The game that got me hooked this time around was when Micheal lent me "Dungeon Siege" for a week.
