Poll: Most annoying game fans?

Console Fanboys -> Almost purely because I'm the polar opposite myself. I especially hate it when they recommend you a game which I've been playing for years which has finally made it onto console.

Yes, because all good games come first on PC. Recommending a game in itself doesn't sound awfully obnoxious to me.

Fair enough, but there's something awry to me about an Xbox owner telling me that I should try this great new shooter (2006) called Battlefield 2, which dominates PC shooters in terms of online play.

Sony fanboys. I can't specify PS3 or PSP, because that's too narrow. I know a few Sony fanboys, and they're all arrogant pricks. Also, I guess FF fanboys are kinda Sony Fanboys in a way, so it's easier than saying FF Fanboys.

Console fans. Especially when it comes to "PS3 vs Xbox 360". Face it, your consoles will stop getting games when their next models come out... Me? I'll just upgrade PC for 1/3 of the price of the new console and I can still play all my old and new games.

I'm gonna say Valve fanboys.

Yep, as I said before they openly mock dedicated Halo fans for being blind sheep then just as quickly lick Gordon Freeman's balls with unquestioned devotion. They think they are better than everyone else and are self righteous snobs.

Valve fan here saying that they're actually pretty selective about which Valve games they like. Perhaps it's because Valve have made bad games, but there's a lot of hate for the Source engine in some circles (particularly with regard to 'ruining' the Counter Strike and Day of Defeat franchises), pretty much everyone thinks that Half Life: Source is utter rubbish and a lot of people side with either Counter Strike *or* Team Fortress -> not both (Counter Strike players claiming that TF is too easy, with Team Fortress lovers claiming the opposite of CS).

A sadly big majority of those poor Sonic fans do nothing but ***** and moan about every little thing about Sonic since 2006, right down to the whoever the fuck is voice acting the characters. Nothing is perfect and everything has it's perks. For example, I don't never need to worry about upgrading or compability when I buy games on consoles.

To be perfectly honest, I have yet to meet a person, walk away and think, "That guy was a real fanboy", I find people who like a game, and will defend it if somebody says its bad. Does that make someone a fanboy? If so, lock me up.

Mac fanboys. No offense to Mac owners, but when you act all high and mighty and hate Windows because of all the flaws it has, it gets annoying. My friend is one, and for some reason auto update is a bad thing.

Exactly. The people who persist to hate on RPGs (like Final Fantasy) when they obviously just don't like the genre as a whole (perhaps they just massively lack patience?) seem pretty rubbish.

I would have to say Halo fanboys. They all just seem so stuck up to me. (In general, no offence, im sure some of you are lovely people...) Personally, Im a FF fanboy, but i was very tempted to switch to a CoD fanboy after the god awful excuse for a video game that was FFX/FFX-2. FFXII was pretty rough as well, but FFVII and FFIX kept me hanging on.
