Poll: Most Annoying Preachers?

Atheists. I just don't why when some Atheists hear you're religious, they decide that you must be ''enlightened'' or whatever (I can't think of a better way to put it), instead of just respecting my beliefs. You don't see me fucking Bibles into peoples faces, telling them to repent or convert or whatever. Now, I understand that there are many religious preachers who are like that, and I find them annoying too (again, not respecting others beliefs), but I just find the Atheists to be more obnoxious. Just my opinion.

Dude, your religion still controls the country. You find atheists more annoying because you disagree with them, but religious people preach more (I pass 4 churches on the way to class) and louder, (Tea parties) and have greater extremes. (Westboro Church) I don't mean to make this into a religious argument, but for you to act like atheists are forcing themselves into Christianity to enlighten others completely ass backwards. In fact, my guess is that your only interaction with an atheist preacher is on the internet. I've never seen an atheist standing at the corner on a soap box handing out copies of "The Origin of Species" or something.

Haha no. For one, Ireland isn't run by the religion. The Pope isn't sitting there in the Vatican going ''Hmm, I wonder if I should increase the dole?'' or ''This Brian fella, he isn't doing that great a job, is he?''. Yes, I'll agree the church used to have a fair say in the government, but their say has been reduced a heck of a lot.

Sure, I do disagree with them (the Atheist), but I don't care what they believe. People can believe what they want, as long as they don't come up to me and tell me I'm wrong, just because I disagree with them. And if you read, I said the religious preachers can be just as bad as Atheists. They would have been my second choice (I really don't like it when others don't respect others beliefs. Well, the majority of the time. There are always exceptions.).

I never said they are forcing their way into Christianity. I said my in my personal experience, that they preach more to me. I didn't say ALL Atheists are like this, just a good proportion of the ones I know.

I pass one church on the way to school. So?

And no, I've interacted with plenty. The majority of my age group seem to be Atheist, or at least in my school. I very rarely come across someone my age who says they are any religion. Does this matter to me? No, it doesn't. It's their choice. But they have no right to say that I'm wrong.

Maybe it's just me but I think the harder question to answer is which is the least annoying.. They all annoy the snot out of me. Don't think you could find one that doesn't. Even those I agree with.

I'm an atheist but don't "preach", I only defend my beliefs when they are attacked. And since I was attacked so much based on my beliefs (well, lack thereof) I'll say religious people. Don't flame me.

My vote goes to Religious preachers. They always preach on how my very existence is an insidious threat to humanity and constantly they always try to get in the way of any rights me and my fellow friends wish - even though they can never keep their damn hands off the alter boys.

Vegetarians and Vegans who force their beliefs 'DON'T EAT MEAT' are definitely annoying, but at least they've got consistency in their beliefs. All my life I've seen preachers blurting out being kind, love everyone, don't cheat on your wife. Yet, all the time I see preachers condemning people to hell, hating anything they don't quite understand, and it wouldn't be the first time I ever saw them having an affair or a sex scandal.

At least vegetarians or vegans that preach not to eat meat don't actually eat meat them selves.

For some reason, at least where i live, trying to save the smokers have become a public hobby, and lots of people take it to the extend where they belive they should hate smokers as much as the nazis. tryign to convince me that the smoke ffrom my ciggarete which they can smell from 5 feet away will certainly make them die 5 years too early, and that i'm a murderer.

Relegious and atheistic preachers take a shared second place, mainly cause of how stupid they stubborn they are, considering how set people often are in their faith/lack of faith.
I don't belive in god myself, but i honestly can't see the problem in others doing so, and i really couldn't care to waste my time trying to convinve someone they were wrong.

"think of the children" pisses me off as well, not just the children butthe whole "big-mother" society thing... let people take some fucking responsibility for themselves and their spawnsm instead of trying to make everyone live in a restricting safe-bubble, cause a few tards can't act right.

As for animal right people, they really don't bother me, since they ususally just want money, it's easy to dismiss them. I like PETA, i find the stupid things they say in public quite funny, so they ammuse me.

Never really had any encounters with anti-drinkers nor have i met any vegetarians who tried to convert me.

I can't choose. All of them are idiots. Especially people debating religion though, so I guess my choice would be both Atheists and Religious people. Both get to be hypocrites after a while. Just look at the AmazingAthiest, and that one little 8 year old kid that has his own YouTube channel that preaches about gay marriage and stuff. It's stupid. None of them realize absolutely no one gives a shit about their beliefs.

And I love how everyone seems to ignore that you simply can't disprove a God's existence. And you cannot prove God's existence. You know, that's why they call it "faith".

I also can't count the times I meet athiests and they immediately think I'm a preacher that's gonna shove my giant library of bibles into their faces. It's so stereotypical to think that all Christians are small child screwing righteous assholes. Especially over the internet.

Self-defence, seriously, if you ***** at people over their eating habits expect those people to get their back up and have a go right back. Preachers are the ones that see a guy eating a hamburger and just can't let it go and have to put their 2 cents in, I've never heard about someone doing the same to a dude eating a salad. Hell I like some vegifood at the local cafes around here.

Agreed, I went fishing once in Virgina, and while on the pier a couiple of Peta activists cut all the lines nets and such. One of them tried to throw my 400 dolar rod in the water, that pisses me of since in that area, the fishing is properly regulated.

I 100% agree with you, of coursr there is two Religions I do hate, Scientology and Satan worship. (Satan worship only because they have fucked up rituals and such. Scientology on the other hand is a brainwahing cult. I wouldn't be bothered by Scientology if it didn't seem like they were just after money. If they made the Religion free, I wouldn't be bothered by them)
