I'd love to see an end to "corner humping" (never heard it called that before) as well. But turning on clipping would probably present some new problems, particularly with people that are insuring that others have a bad time. I could just see some little punk standing in a doorway and blocking everyone from going forward, and then going AFK or some crap.Pumpkin_Eater said:Get rid of corner humping during finales and panic events. I don't really care how they do it, but it needs to happen. My best idea is adding clipping to the survivors so they can't all be standing inside each other melee spamming.
I hate your Avatar...that stupid clown gave me my share of nightmares when I was a kid...And now I deeply hate you for remind me he still exists.hotacidbath said:*snip*
Or just add a stamina bar to how many times you can melee.runtheplacered said:I'd love to see an end to "corner humping" (never heard it called that before) as well. Surely there is some sort of a solution to this problem, though. The game was much more fun when everybody was a newbie and that sort of thing wasn't happening yet.
Why would you want a game to be more realistic.c0rruptioN said:more guns, smarter AI, more options in certain areas of the game, realism tweaking with items like the propane tank, which in real life would not blow up if you shot it. etc.
Keep your fingers crossed about this being the Survival mode. If not you can bet someone will try this with the SDK.Rednog said:I really want a more open ended map. Yea I know that when they first tested it people got confused on where to go etc, or once they found a single route they always went that way. But I think it would be really cool if they had like a small town or city and spawned you randomly in some part of it, gave you a random destination, and random obstructions blocking a few of multiple paths.
That's the only term I've heard to describe it actually. Usually from a frustrated infected player and accompanied with some derogatory terms. Presumably with clipping you'd be able to push a fellow survivor, which would make door blocking unfeasible, you'd just have to put some limits on it, like not letting it push someone over a ledge.runtheplacered said:I'd love to see an end to "corner humping" (never heard it called that before) as well. Haha, sorry about that. That's actually pretty common reaction to this avatar. I have an even better one of Captain Howdy from the Exorcist if you would like for me to share.oliveira8 said:I hate your Avatar...that stupid clown gave me my share of nightmares when I was a kid...And now I deeply hate you for remind me he still exists.![]()
