I don't like any one type of music, I have a huge mix and jumble of different songs. Although, country, and rap are my least favorite. I only have about, maybe one of each kind.

Although my favorite type of music is obvious, I love a song that is horn driven. Loud, fast paced, trumpets, saxophones, clarinets, etc.

Disturbed has its moments, too. I particularly like Meaning of Life.
But I'm very open about music, so while I prefer Hard Rock, I'll even listen to a few country, new metal or even trance titles.

Okay..I do have a few songs by Johnny Cash. I have from Disturbed, to Henry Mancini(Pink Panther), to Johnny Cash, to the Beastie Boys. Just mainly Rock and Metal. But I have to say, I like older music mostly. Many new songs just don't quite capture me like the older ones do.

Actually I listen to everything, except Jonas Brothers and the rest of the commercial crap that they fling at us.

I will listen to any genre as long as it sounds good, but I largely listen to rock.

This to an extent. I find that most genres have songs that are worth listening to, though I listen to rock n' roll 95% of the time. There are a few genres that I haven't seen the anything likeable (yet?) about though, that being hip-hop and death/grind/hard/whatever core metal.

But I try to keep an open mind and give every band a chance to impress.

hmm i have been listening to Punk and metal rock lately.
along the lines of Drowning Pool etc..
but Electro Trance Music always appealed to me along the lines of Bonobo,The Prodigy etc..

The music I listen to the most is probably some kind of mix of all those alternatives. Although I also listen to classical music, mainly Ludwig Van.

It's funny, you made a poll about music on the Escapist but there is no Metal option. Anyway(if it werent obvious already) I usually listen to metal among a few other genres. I'm a big fan of Folk Metal, and Thrash/Speed Metal.
