I don't like them mainly because I hate pussy emo rock
This.
I sort of agree. While I hate emo people I don't mind the music. I like My Chemical Romance but was kind of pushed away when I saw a photo of them. But I'm not one to let appearances push me away so I still like them.

Everyone has their certain music choices...I hate metal...I like My Chemical Romance.

That doesn't say anything about me as a person and because people have different music tastes and because you don't like the band then you should just leave it alone and don't force your music tastes on them people.

Cocks.

They're ok, I wouldn't go as far out as to call myself a fan, but they are pretty good. Teenagers, Helena, I'm Not Okay, and Welcome To The Black Parade are the first songs that jump to mind for me. Oh, and Famous Last Words.

Great, now that song is stuck in my head! *Goes of singing*

Nobodies mentioned "you know what they do to guys like us in prison"...
And that song is fantastic, even though, truely befitting of the genre, the title has absolutely no connection to the meaning of the song.

Congratulations, your test has stumped me, as with all the others(see what I did there? :D). Alright, yes, I admit that I am soon 18 and I have already "grown out of" MCR, yet it is still pretty good music. I am also fully aware that a band's image is there for people to know what kind of music is played, but lumping all music that sounds sort of like eachother together and applying the same image to them is not something I approve of.
Also, what kind of music are you referring to? I am very curious to find out. I'd be happy to give it a try, because to me it does not matter if it's mainstream or not, I listen to what I think sounds good. Alas, this is already a long-winded rant, better end it.

TL;DR: Stop whining about "Whining"
When i mean lesser known bands,i mean more underrated classics, like Faith No More,Nine Inch Nails,Alice In Chains and Diablo Swing Orchestra(also a varied bunch of bands named there too)

And i like My Chemical Romances Black Parade Album,i'm not here insulting you,or the band.I am simply saying that they aren't all that and a bag of chips(so to speak).
Ah, I see your point. Sorry I overracted. Still, I won't say Alice In Chains or Nine Inch Nails are underrated (at least not here), though I see what you mean. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to check out Diablo swing orchestra and faith no more.

Not bad, but not brilliant. I saw them once not long after 'Three cheers for sweet revenge' was out and thought this.

However I saw them again headlining a festival a while after 'the black parade' and they frankly acted like pompous tw-- er, twits. Which put me off a bit.

Where's the 'indifferent' option on the poll?

They're alright, I don't hate them with a passion like I do with other bands, and I sort of like a couple of their songs. I suppose I respect the fact they are sort of pioneering their own sound, too.

Please,do so.Because when i say a band is underrated,i mean Magazine Publishers like Kerrang! don't wank over them as opposed to Fall Out Boy,Madina Lake or My Chemical Romance.
And i guarentee you'll probably not hear many bands like Diablo Swing Orchestra.EVER.

I'd heard of them but never heard one of their songs before coming to this thread, so I voted that. My musical tastes are pretty varied, especially when it comes to single songs rather than bands however they just really aren't my thing, the few songs I listened to here didn't evoke any sort feelings or emotions in me.

I can some up my opinion with a quote from one well(ish) know Irish radio DJ.

"The first two were pretty good but I wouldn't wipe my arse with The Black Parade,"
