Considering how you explained it... yeah that was unfair. But she probably had a reason to fire you, or whatever, the point is, that's how the world works, and while it isn't always fair, you can bet your ass that if you get back and try harder next time things will work out.

I just needed to get this off my chest because I haven't even told my family I've been fired yet.

I worked at a bakery, and it was one of the best jobs I ever had, I got there early and worked hard every day. I was still in training when I was fired. I scheduled my car for maintenance and it would take a day I asked for the day off a week in advance which is the norm. She said she would fire me if I was a minute late so I payed for my grandpa to rent a car and borrowed his since I'm too young to rent a car and made it to work on time.

I was supposed to train for two weeks but she wanted me done in 1 so I had to quickly memorize every ingredient in every bread and pastry as well as every procedure. I did the early morning set up twice and upon inspection I made only one mistake on my first try which was slightly too much powdered sugar on some fruit muffins.

Plus there was this girl who was training with me that started a week earlier and was getting the full two weeks, who made massive mistakes and spilled stuff regularly and still wasn't fired.

I think it's because she hates men, she openly stated that "men can't handle this easy job" during my interview.

Edit: The reason she gave me was that the store I was training to work at had "enough staff" even though it was critically understaffed and she often had to ship workers from the other store to staff it. The other workers hate having to drive there and say they already work too many hours.
One phrase: Sue her ass for unfair dismissal. You will be *loaded*.

Depending on where you live, the norm for requesting time-off is two weeks (USA). Other than that, from your perspective, you got a fist up the backside!

You could always try to sue for sexism and unrightful dismissal. Other than that, there's always Gamestop.

Wow, she really does sound like a complete and total *****. I say find another job, you could have the greatest work in the world but with a boss like that eventually you're going to stop enjoying it.

Perhaps burning the bakery down in an act of revenge would bring you some comfort?

My last job had a boss like that. I was fired for the same reasons, too. I was there 15 minutes before my shift, even clocked in when I was hired to be there, not before. I gave her an extra 15 minutes free of my work every fucking day. Ugh... I hate jobs.

Well from your description she sounds like an impatient, strict, sexist, coldhearted *****. You not telling us something, aren't you? And if this is all genuine you should look for a job with a union next time.

Don't worry about it, man. Just do what Emily Dickinson says. "Fuck Bitches, Get Money"

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she said that.

Sometimes, you get a boss who just doesn't like that you're working for them (maybe they can't afford you, or just don't like you) but doesn't really have a logical reason to fire you. So they start spinning all sorts of ridiculous conditions to let you go, hoping that you'll be unable to meet their impossible expectations and fire you. This bakery boss sounds like one of those cases.

In those cases, my recommended course of action is to look for another position while you still have a job to indicate you're able to hold one to potential employers. If your current employer is putting out that many signs they don't want you around, you should take the hint.

Do her some bad press. Stand in front of her store saying to everyone not to eat there, you were fired because you said you would rat on her for the rat's tail (or anything disgusting) you found in one of here cake. Also, get a fake whatever you use and wave that in the client face. If she confront you, say that you're fighting lies with lies and you now have a sh*t ton of free time. And if she call the cop, claim the second amendment and drive her out of business.

An EYE for an EYE.

(Make sure your story is believable... or you'll end in jail.)
