I purchased it for the 360, but from what i can tell from my friend's PC version, the PC version is superior by only a small bit. Small Graphical Tweaks are much easier on the eye, but for a close second, the 360 version is only a tad weaker. Trying to choose a console to play a specific multiplatform game on is difficult and rather unnecessary to do the time developers put in to develop all versions of the same game. All three of these platforms still play a rather well made game to the near exact ratio there rival platforms do.

PC has mods and cheats, 360 has better controls and PS3 has a hefty price tag.

That is impossible as long as you can plug a 360 gamepad into your PC (hint: you can).

No arguements really, it has to be PC.

Whatever system you run it on it'll never be that smooth, least not smoother on any system for it to make a difference.
The PC gets mods etc which make the game so much more enjoyable.
Now the 360 has the controller which can of course make things simpler for those not big on PC gaming, but then again you can plug a 360 controller into your PC... So again, PC is still better.

As for PS3, seriously? That just means dolling out a lot of extra money, and i'm not even sure if the PS3 version gets any DLC.

It doesn't matter what platform you play it on; it still going to be amazing.

Personally, I've played it on both PC and 360, and would say that I think it's better suited to the PC. And I didn't even mod the game, so I arguably missed out on the best feature of having the game for PC. You do need a pretty good rig to run it though.

PC, mainly because of all the mods.

Even if your computer doesn't meet the minimum, there are mods that still make the game run fine, even on the lowest computers, even if the game looks like ass, it still works.

I have 200+ mods installed for Oblivion, and that number just keeps growing.

Mods just add so much to the game, some even overhaul the entire game, completely transforming the experience.

Plus, the controles are just so much easier to use with a mouse/keyboard.
At least for me.

Used to play PC version, but it runs worse than Crysis.(Fallout 3 has the same problem)
I'd say the console version is superior. Mods can't help a game when you can barely play it.

PC + mods = win.

Why 360? It doesn't really have better controls...
The game is designed to be played with a controller. Mouse + Keyboard is horrible with the default menus.
Wut? You do know there are mods that downgrade the graphics to a point where even 3+ year old laptops can run it?

Also, I don't know what the heck are you talking about. I played only with Mouse + Keyboard and can't imagine slow, heavy controls when playing an archer or a mage.
So.. PC is superior because people have to downgrade it's graphics to play?
I like how you downplayed it by putting "Have" and not "can".

Who cares about cheats, it sucks the fun out of the game, the Xbox 360 controls are all over the place and what has the price for a console got to do with the game in general???
It can be the deciding factor in buying a console for the game or not.
Like the PS3 has Little Big Planet, not even Stephen Fry himself can convince me to buy one.
But, u cant say that a console price tag can affect the game, only difference was PS3 got the 2 expansions for Oblivion (which kick ass).

i found the 360 controls were awful! PC all the way for me!
Mods are great, I can pump graphics to max everything and it still runs like butter and looks WAY better than both PS3 and 360. I admit the menu was designed to be controller friendly, but that does not automatically make it mouse unfriendly. Plus, there are mods which change the menu!

And, even if you think a controller has better controls, you can just plug a 360 controller into the PC and play it that way (i have one for my PC).
