Umm? Are you from the future?

Because right now the only info that's out about this project Titan is that it's called project Titan. That's it!

The only thing that I'm sure of is it's a new MMO by Blizzard, and considering that, we can hope to expect it by the year 2085....0o

Ya so I am going to be rational and not speculate on a game that has had next to no information released about it. Seriously the only think they have said is that it is Blizzards vision for MMO games, and the things they are changing could not be done in WoW because of its inherent design. We also think it may be called Titan, maybe.

I have to wonder what the people who down on WoW as being "evil" and "time/money-wasting" spend their time and money on. Especially the ones here at the Escapist, who seem to be avid game players themselves. Hint: You play games, you are wasting time and money on them. There's no solid return money/time-wise in video games unless you're one of the few who review games for a living, and if you actually make good money on that, you're mired so deep in games u need to review you hardly get to play them thoroughly enough.
People get hooked on all sorts of useless tripe. There are "Gleeks", Twilight fans, Miley Ray Cyrus fans, D&D enthusiasts, Stargate fans, Trekkies, Star Wars Geeks, etc. And its all a waste of time. But is that a bad thing? No.If you don't like WoW or Blizzard, great for you. I hope your time-wasting activities are joyful because I get a great amount of joy and fun from mine.
Thus... to get OT:
Blizzard by far has made the most successful MMO. Addicting? Perhaps, but there has to be something of value to the people who play it avidly. There has to be a return on the investment for people to continue playing it. Sure, people have died because of self-neglect in gaming. Perhaps you need to blame people for their priorities being fucked up.
But overall if Blizz is making a completely new IP MMO, great for them, I hope its successful and awesome. If I play it, that will be a miracle because I have very little time as it is to play anything at the moment. Maybe a few hours of WoW or MW2 (BlOps sucks) or something else from my library that hasn't been finished yet.
But I realize too in the end, people take any reason they can find or contrive to knock success and demonize it, perhaps out of jealousy or close-minded trollishness... who knows?

Here's hoping it aint an RPG. Here's hoping it's not WoW in a different setting. Here's hoping Bizzard do something new with the largely untapped potential of the MMO format.

Sorry for wanting to work with a studio where i can exercise creativity and crate a new world instead of a new expansion to an already defined world.

None of us have seen anything of it, and probably won't do for quite some time, let alone get to play it.

You've blown your load before you've even seen the girl.
I don't have to. WoW is a psychological chain, the new one will be a psychological chain, BLIZZARD'S games are psychological chains. Watch, just watch. When big names advertise ,"innovation," what do you usually get? Either way, it will still rob people of their soul.
Wow, you are the embodiment of the cynical-because-I-can-be type gamer that I can't fucking stand.
Or the "I watched extra credits and instantly become a capable critic"

Sorry for not wanting to work at one of the world's most successful studios, in a position that would surely earn me hundreds of thousands of dollars and allow me to meet all kinds of awesome people who would be able to help me get my game idea off the ground.
Fixed that for you.

Yes, except that part is purely pulled out of your imagination, you and everyone not directly working on the project have no idea what they're doing yet, you also proved yourself much more "intense" than informed, you didn't even know it was a new IP, which was announced a year ago.

TLDR: you might wanna calm down a little, there's zero reason to hate a game you haven't got the slightest idea about.

And as a foot-note, god forbid companies trying to make money, what is it with this generation and hating success ?

A gaming company is still a business.

Wow, really? You don't think I'm capable of independent thought? That I'm a human? That I enforce my right of free will and opinion? That this came from my own observations and research? Wow, just, wow. Cynisism is the shorthand of realism. I do my own research, I read what I could on the bloody games, and even watched them. It was painful. And it's not like you have a similar opinion on a game.

And yet you can fully form an opinion on a vague idea for a game 3 years behind it's made. This isn't metaphysical.
