DON'T BUY FALLOUT 3!

sorry for caps

There's a GOTY coming for the PS3 in a few months, it'll cost around 50 - 60 euro's (or bucks, wherever you live) and you'll get ALL THE DLC with it, otherwise you'll have to buy it and you'll waste a LOT of money!
6 months, that is. Not even all the DLC is released yet.

A bit off topic but the poll is giving the finger.

Now back on topic, if Fallout 3 is the winner hold of till the GoTY edition comes out so you can get all the DLC for free.

I'd say Fallout 3, DLC is finally coming to the PS3 soon, probably by the time you've finished it once, once of many, oh sooooooooooo many.

Wait for Fallout 3's GOTY edition. I recommend Prototype, if you're hack n' slashy, or Infamous, if you're TPS style.

If it's for the PS3, ignore everyone who's saying Fallout 3. Seriously, all the good DLC and such is for the 360. I would get either inFAMOUS or Prototype. It's all up to if you prefer slicing someone's face up or electrocuting them.

Actually, all the DLC is coming for PS3 aswell. So, your sentence is a bit incorrect.

Which should I get?

inFamous (PS3)
Fallout 3 (PS3)
Oblivion (PS3)
Prototype (PS3)
Steam has got a Weekend Deal on Fallout 3 - a friggin' 50% off the price. From $39.99 to $19.99
Get it now before the sweet Deal is off :0
BEFORE IT'S ALL TOO LATE !!
I bought it for the full-price a year ago, so here's your chance I did not have.

Never had a trouble with buying games through Steam, you just download from it. Downloaded Garry's Mod 10 using my Dad's Credit card. There's nothing to it, don't worry about a thing.

THAT'S RIGHT! IT'S SO EASY, EVEN YOUR KIDS CAN DO LAUNDRY! *ahem* I mean purchase a game through steam.

ARE YOU ON THE BALL. ITS NEW OXICLEAN DETERGENT! GET ON THE BALL!

sorry I'm just starting to realize how much TV is going to be different without Billy May's commercials. :(

If this was a poll that included Oblivion for the PC, I'd say that in a heart-beat over all of them. I'm still playing it today, heavily modified, but more than double the content that was in it originally.

Otherwise, my brother said inFamous was great, so I'll just go with his suggestion (I don't have a PS3...).

So far im thinking Fallout 3...

How linear is progression in it? and how much choice do we have on how we play?
- You can kill almost everyone in the game, and there are generally multiple ways to do any quest.
- There's only one ending, practically, even if your karma is as low as possible.
- It's possible to skip a huge portion (over half) of the main quest by going to the right place right at the start of the game, though it is highly unlikely that you will do so by accident.
- Huge sandbox. You can go anywhere you like right at the start, but you might run into some nasty things.
- You can't continue after the end of the main quest, unlike Oblivion, unless you buy Broken Steel. I would recommend not finishing the main quest.
- If you aren't worried about karma, you can pretty much just go into Sneak mode and steal everything that isn't nailed down.
- If you kill a shopkeeper, you can take everything that the shop was carrying if the person was carrying the key to the shop's inventory.
SPOILERS.

Is that going to the vault with the GECK or going to Jefferson memorial... or elsewhere I'm interested. Or do you go and find dad in the weird computer simulation?

I'd personally get Fallout 3 first, as it has a mind-boggling amount of content to enjoy. You'll end up enjoying Fallout 3 for far, far longer than most games out today.

Go here [http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm].
Roll a d4.
1 is Prototype, 2 is Fallout, 3 is Oblivion, 4 is inFamous.
That's what I do when I have to make a choice like this, at least.
Except, I use real dice.
>_>

I would go with Oblivion. It's similar to Fallout, except the map is bigger(I think) and there's a lot more to do. If you like Fantasy, at least, then go with Oblivion. Fallout is okay, but I've never liked post-apocalyptic stuff that much, so don't take my word for it. I can't give an opinion on the other two, because I haven't played them.
