I felt like it was more balanced than MW2, but the hit detection did seem a bit worse at times, while other times it's spot on (maybe this is due to non-dedicated servers, maybe something else entirely)

I liked it, especially because I didn't have to deal with infinite n00btubers

I hated it because it was released as a broken game. Didn't work for a huge number of PC owners and then they released two of the crappiest patches to try and fix it while 360 and PS3 got more attention when the game worked for them. I think it was about two weeks before I was able to finally play the campaign decently and was able to try out the multiplayer for a week or so before another patch came and broke it for me and at that point I was done. Best $60 paperweight I have ever gotten.

In short, I am never buying another Call of Duty that is made by Treyarch again.

I do NOT want this to turn in to a flame war, I just want you're honest opinions on the subject.
I hated it, I hate being asked to play it, and I think multiplayer and PvP style competition has ruined the ideal that was fun gaming. I feel that a game based solely around running with knives and stabbing people while giggling like a little brat does not give the sense of fun that a co-operative strategizing team could supply. In my opinion, Black Ops, and other FPS games like it, should never have existed. They have done nothing but hurt the face of gaming, and continue to display gamers as little kids that rage because they can't glitch through reality. Without the multiplayer FPS scene, or the PvP scene, games would be able to mature past it's adolescence years and allows adults to make games for adults without taking so much negativity from the public. That's my personal opinion, even if it incites a flame war. You can quote me using the personal interview format if you wish, but if you want to ask me why then send me a private message and I'll give you a full interview to help with your research.

It's a good game, I'll give it that. I've had fun with it, but MW2 is more fun to me. It's easier to get kills in MW2, the maps aren't ugly, and they are actually pretty well laid out. Black Ops has what, 2 or 3 good maps? 1 great map that is guaranteed to get a replay, and its a small map not much larger than your average cul-de-sac (spelling) and that is nuketown, partially because of the double rainbow. The hit detection is sketchy in black ops, I have pointed my AK47 at someone's face, at a pretty short distance, and still didn't manage to kill him after unloading a mag. The COD points system BREAKS attachments for me, I believe that (like in MW/2) you should have to show even the slightest amount of skill with the gun before you deserve any addons. Not in BO, just play a few games, get a couple thousand bucks, buy that godsent attachment and kill, kill, kill. I hope MW3 is better, because that is my last hope in the COD series.

It was Okay in all aspects. Has a multiplayer that was above-average to me but not addicting enough. Combat Training, Wager Matches, among other things were great additions, which I praise. The Single Player had a fairly gripping story, it felt like Call of Duty to me.

Matchmaking is still painful. Lag is such a ***** in the game, 2 bars will make the game nearly unplayable. Half the guns are underpowered, suck, and/or are not worth using. The only good guns there are are being nerfed because of little bitchy kids. I could go on about the bad things.

I enjoyed both single and multiplayer in Black Ops, despite most of the people on my friends list saying the multiplayer was horrible. It wasn't terribly divergent from past CoD games as far as the multiplayer is concerned, and for me the biggest drawbacks compared to MW2 are the COD Points system and the map design, but beyond that I didn't notice a whole lot of difference.

I like it, better than MW2. I've spent tons of hours with splitscreen Nazi Zombies, and mowing down bots with stupid loadouts with friends.

Pro's:
Campaign was good and new (although not much replay value)
Tried to fix everything people hated about MW2
New and intresting things added (Wager matchs)

Cons:
Nothing.

Mutiplayer:This is where i think CoD is funner the BETTER you are,No offence or anything, but im going to guarantee most people who Hate MW2/BO,Sucked at them,or i could beat them,i find CoD To be epic everytime i play it,and to be honest (and not to brag) im pretty good at it,and i find most of the problems people say, aren't even that bad,So what if knifing is terrible on CoD7? you hated commando on MW2 so why complain?,but to be fair,if theirs one thing i think spoils Black ops,its RC-XD's they ruin the online of CoD7 so much.

Damn it this guy knows El Presador! You rock! Haha. Thats another thing, btw. Back in MW2 Elpresador was way funnier. Maybe im just getting burnt out on his commentaries though. And yes, it was his idea, at least thats where I got it from. You would have caught me with my pants down if I had presented it as my own idea!
Well his best commentaries are the ones where he keeps getting bullshitted on, haha, so yeah, the MW2 ones were always entertaining, or he he says - 'ENNUTAYNIN!'

Some of his Black Ops commentaries are fucking hilarious too though, especially when he gets angry:

5.33 just cracks me up :D

...as does the first few minutes of this one.

Didn't like it, now I'm off to not play Call of Duty Black Ops in favor of the Infamous 2 demo.

Multiplayer is an okay time waster but Halo is so much better at that

Zombies is the main reason I keep Black Ops.

Not a big fan of Black Ops, I love the CoD series, but not a huge fan of BOps.
Multiplayer just seems a bit lackluster, the selection of (useful) guns is just shameful.
Everyone getting command is pretty facepalm worthy.
And it is the worst PC version of CoD to date.

Also knifing is no where near as fun as it was in MW2, I miss the tactical knife and the throwing knife. The ballistic knife and the tomahawk are terrible compared.
