It's a nice treat every once in a while. Wish it wasn't so expensive and hard to get a hold of, though.

No. Never.

I fucking hate it. It needs to go extinct. That is all.
That's a tad excessive, don't you think?

Meh. I've tried it, It's fun to do sometimes, but it really shouldn't be a big deal in your life. Definitely too much money and effort being spent on enforcing the laws surrounding it.

If used in moderation it'd be fine. I have no interest simply because I have a perfectly nice time without it, and its illegal.

All drugs have side-effects.

Cannabis is no different so you're running the risk of whatever.
If I may be so blunt, I look down on smokers in general and more so if it's cannabis.
It's arrogant and fairly pointless because no matter how high you get, there is always a low.

Jus' my opinion.
Chances are, you indulge in something that is just as harmful, if not more so then marijuana.

Instead of looking down on others, I think people should be looking at themselves.
I don't drink (since I don't like the taste :/) and if you consider any of my interests as harmful I will be genuinely surprised.
Yep, I am just that 'boring'.

Smoked often for a while. Then I grew up. Drugs offer no greater truth or understanding, or really any boon of any kind to you. So why continue usage of a substance that offers a temporary and empty happiness, but costs so very much?

I dunno. I don't begrudge you for smoking if you do, but I feel that I must draw greater meaning from my life, and after running the total cornucopia of drugs, I've found them lacking.
Coming from a guy who "FUCKING LOVES COCAINE"
Hey. Whoa. The bear does. Don't put me in this boat. He's got a problem. I hear he makes bank on the east coast, though. I keep telling him to chill out, or someone's curb stomp him, but he's too coke-crazy to realize.

It's really quite sad. Lord Tuddlywuggles used to be such a cuddly and fun-loving bear. Now? I dunno, man. :\
It's what cocaine does to you, man.

Well, as expected this thread has yielded a rather large and diverse collection of answers, most striking of which is that apparently some folks would like a thread on cannibalism, among other things.

Really though, I appreciate you guys taking the time to post a reply even though (yes, I'll say it again) this has been done many times before. I'm glad to see so many sensible opinions and am also amused by the results of my poll, which came out almost equally on all options (NEVERs not included).

If anyone has any questions about dutch law, my personal experiences, or anything else, let me know!

Cheers

Not really. Asthma, for one(though I'm not sure about if Asthma can last or if you can grow out of it or whatever).

So if I were to try it, I'd prefer someone bake it into cookies or brownies... Maybe literal Pot Roast!

Oh Cannabis... I came into the thread thinking it said "Opinions on Cannibals"...

On Topic: NO, I don't intend to ever use it.

Eh, I know a few people who've done it. I've never tried it, but I guess I maybe would sometime out of curiosity.

Ah, the drug-hating trolls are out in force by the looks of some posts.

I'm neither overly for or overly against it.

I was a regular user for about a year and abit, towards the end of that time frame it was having a very large effect on my emotional and mental well-being. I quit and now only use casually. Never pay for it, i get it free like many things.

I think it's a choice you have to make yourself and know not to over do it, as with most things in life.

Keep safe out there!

Cannabis is only a drug on technical terms.
Drug-A chemical substance, such as a narcotic or hallucinogen, that affects the central nervous system, causing changes in behavior and often addiction.

Cannabis is a plant, just a tobacco is. The only real harm that comes from marijuana is the same you would get from inhaling any carcinogen. If anyone tells you they are addicted to weed they are weak-minded. Marijuana does not cause physically dependency. Anyone can become addicted to anything mentally. If you are a weak enough person you can be addicted to anything like hot dogs, dandelions, or even Marijuana. An actual addiction is based on the harmful withdraws that take place when the chemical isn't being supplied to your body. Marijuana relives stress and can help mood problems. Also, people who suffer Chemo therapy get relief from their symptoms while under the influence marijuana.

So the answer to the initial thread is NO. I do not smoke weed. I'd love to it was a great part of my life that made things simpler and it helped control my panic attacks, but marijuana isn't for adults. Jobs and passing drug tests are much more important than getting stoned with your buds. If it is legalized then I would be happy to participate, but for right now I cannot participate, but I honestly wish that I could because really If the whole world smoked pot there would be no wars.

I've tried it before, yes.

I did it a few times and it never once did anything to me, so I just never touched it again.

If other people want to do it, let them. I just won't be around them when they're using.

I tried it and I'm glad I tried it, but it's not something I'd make a habit out of.

And yes, someone ought to explain why those guys were put on probation. That's a bit ridiculous.
