It seems to me that the assumption behind this question is that an organism grown in a lab to be genetically identical to you, save for a single chromosome, obviously, would pretty much act just like you, and thus theoretically create the "perfect mate." Working withing this assumption: why the hell would you marry it? If you just want something off the opposite gender who thinks exactly like you, and thus would want to "do it to it" whenever you wanted, eat whatever you wanted, sit around watching you play videogames whenever you wanted (or I guess joining in, in this scenario), then I don't see why you'd want to marry it, aside from perhaps legal rights. The assumption is it's you, yeah? I don't see how marriage would really deepen or enrich your relationship to yourself, considering you're already bound to yourself for life as it is.
Dating yourself seems like it'd be fun, though. You'd never fight over what movie to see.
Of course, this is all assuming a genetic copy would have the same personality, which it wouldn't, I imagine, unless perhaps it was also given you memories and experiences while mid-cloning. But that would still muck things up, since your experiences in your gender would just confuse and frustrate your opposite gendered copy. I'd have a lady that thought it was a dude, for example.
So, anyone else waste too much time on a hypothetical question today?
