Poll: Paragon or Renegade?

Do you prefer to be a Paragon or Renegade in Mass effect (1 or 2)? What motivates that decision?

Personally, I prefer Paragon. Saving the Galaxy and humanity doesn't feel right if I'm a jerk about it.

Actually I'm 99% Paragon but Tyrone is just too cool.

Paragon. Mostly because the people you save with paragon usually come back around and help you out in some manner or just make the galaxy a better place for everyone else.

Renegade first, paragon second. They both have their merits, although it can be a bit simpler as a paragon.

Paragon with a hint of Renegade. Wrex got shot even though I had the charm to get around it, because he shouldn't have been such a dick.

And a lot of the Renegade interrupts in ME2 are way too awesome to pass up.

Renegade? Really? I keep thinking that the choices I make effect humanity's standing in the Galaxy. What's the point of saving humanity if I'm making them look like assholes?

I always try to play as a Paragon, but some of the Renegade interrupts inevitably tempt me into pressing them. But only when they're really cool.

Having only play ME once and being about 15 mins into ME 2, I've taken a fairly even approach, choosing the options I like rather than where it's placed on the wheel.

Paragon, though I'm perfectly okay with the occasional Renegade interrupt (like sniping that one mech while looking through Garrus' rifle scope).

I have this mental barrier that prevents me from being an asshole to people I don't know. It's really strange. Like if I tell someone to fuck off in Mass Effect, I actually feel bad afterward. I play Paragon most of the time but I'm currently playing a Renegade Infiltrator and it's going pretty well.

I go paragon with renegade aspects, meaning I go nice if needed until I can go renegade for something that's worth it.
