That the rare parent might be abusing their child this way is nothing new. Hormones coupled with insufficient inhibitions make people do stupid, stupid things. It's not right, but is hardly anything to get upset over considering it's an old and well-known fundamental flaw in human nature.

What is new is when some tween writes up a poll on it about how people should be allowed to parent their kids. That, my friend, is mental. Parenthood has nothing to do with this.

Relativism is all fine and dandy until they disagree with you, huh guys?
Oh don't be a hippy about this. Doing things that deviant to a child in his formative years by his parental figures is going to give him some deeply flawed notions about standards of social and intimate behavior and effectively destroy that kid's ability to function in society. This isn't about them being 'different', it's about them devastating their son's upbringing.
Just to clarify, I find what they did horrifying, I'm not a relativist.

However that all depends on what you deem a healthy upbringing to be. It's only horrific within the context of current social norms. It would've been perfectly acceptable a few dozen thousand years ago.

Curse you human race. I want to be shocked and appalled at this but... I just can't. It's a horrible thing but we see so many horrible things on the news and internet and whatnot that you can't really get emotionally attached, or you'd end up a nervous, sobbing wreck.

The parents are scum though. Incest is not wincest.

I Choose "Parents should be allowed to raise their children in any way they want." Its their lifestyle let them live as they want. However posting vids online knowing that society won't accept it is just stupid.

Disgusting, thoroughly disgusting.

That is a crime, not education. There are many ways to educate ones child about sex WITHOUT showing them firsthand. This article depressed me.

Incest and pedophilia really is, to most people, quite disgusting. But just because something is disgusting doesn't mean we should get all emotive about this and say the parents should be killed just because what they did was disgusting...scat's disgusting too, but you wouldn't kill someone for having a scat fetish.

What the parents did was morally wrong. It was morally wrong because:

1)Pre-pubecent children are unable to consent too nor understand what sex is and should therefore be kept out of it until they are old enough.

2)The act of incest is wrong because it can produce malformed children

3)Parents have a responsability to raise their children appropiatly. The parents decieved their child by treating incest and pedophilia as if it was a norm- and this could count as a form of exploitation. They decieved their child in order to fulfill their sexual needs.

Don't condem the parents because what they did was "disgusting"- as a hetrosexual male i personally find imagining the act of male homosexual sex rather disgusting, whereas a gay person wouldn't. What is disgusting to one person may not be to another. Therefore when judging cases like this we should ignore our emotive disgust response, and judge the case from a rational, neutral perspective.
I was under the distinct impression that people were saying it was "disgusting" BECAUSE it was morally wrong. I mean, sure, a boy having sex with his own parents who are practically a half century old conjures up unpleasant images, but that seems more like an after thought of the initial reaction in favor for the twisted morality of the issue.
Sometimes i think people are more disgusted with pedophilia and incest than more immoral crimes like, say, murder. In my opinion murder is more morally wrong than incest or pedophilia, so its irrational to be more disgusted with pedophilia than murder. My impression with society in general however is that this is not the case. A pedophile is treated as something worse than a murderer in the media for instance. Society just needs to get its priorities right.

Pedophilia is bad, but there are, and this may come as a surprise to some people, worse crimes than pedophilia. If you agree with this point then you should stop acting as if pedophilia is the worst crime in human history.

If you really want your kid to learn about sex: hire a professional (read: hooker)
Self education at home sucks anyway, especially in this case, YUCK!

I hope the parents never get to see their son again (at least not without constant supervision)

That's just outright disgusting...they shouldn't be allowed to have kids, IMO.
There are only four requirements for a child.

1 Man, 1 Woman, Booze and a broken condom/no birth control.
So you're saying booze is a "requirement" for impregnating someone/getting pregnant?
A joke maby? :p
WE DO NOT JOKE HERE RRRARGGH!

I have a strong aversion to set standards of how things "ought to be", especially when it comes to the actions of people. So, the idea of me telling someone else how to do something like raising a kid to me is anathema. But... with that said, some things obviously do not fly even in my relatively loose world, and child molestation is one of them.

I feel really bad for that kid right now. He's going to be messed up for the rest of his life :(

OP: Shit this is wrong. I just can't even think of a punisment.

It's horrible. Harming/molesting/anything elseing a child is one of the worst things a person can do. The father should have his balls cut off and the mother should have her ovaries torn out. No anaesthetic. Harsh? No. That should be the penalty for harming a child, perhaps it'd make people think twice.
That is more like my opinion too but... hitting fire with fire isn't working usually.

Basicly things that his parents have done gives no chances to the child to live normal life. Imagine him being in some sort of politics if he gets his mental state up again and someone publishing that online video. Shit. Some people are just plainly sick.

A child?
No no no, at nine years old?
Come on.

If he's 18 and he wishes a demonstration, do so if you wish. But a nine year old?
That is just plain-old taking advantage of someone whom doesn't know any better.

Well, I usually just say that parents should be able to raise kids how they want. I'm even fine with them being nudists, but having sex with their kid crosses that "how you want" by a mile.

If they were just "teaching" him, then why did they film it and post it online?! And they kid was pandering for sex at school, so the "teaching" part didn't work out either.

Throw them in the slammer, take the kid away, case closed.

1. Appreciate the human body and sexuality: Check, no problem here.

2. Nudists naked in front of their kid and their kid naked in front of them: A little uncomfortable for me personally, but tolerable so long as you're "decent" about it and don't cross

3. Sex in front of your kid: I just... I just... can't see a good justification here... I mean, okay, you can demonstrate sex to them... a little more informative than necessary. Nothing a diagram or something couldn't handle. Besides that, kids have seen parents have sex (damn unlocked doors) and not come off too worse for wear... but still on the very darkest shade of grey for me at the least. I mean definite black comes with

4. Sex with your kid: No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. I believe in absolutes. I recognize that others don't and some societies might see things differently and good for them. For people living in a contemporary society, we have some lines you just don't freaking cross.

Then I'd condition all of these with age. 9-10? That puts all of those into Black for me. A 10 year old doesn't need any of that at all.

Oh people will freak out now but in 50 years everyone will be doing it u.u Keeping your child rearing up with societal norms will probably benefit the child later on as he'll fit in better and be less of a whiny rebel type, we really do need societal pressure to keep some bad behaviors from really spreading, if only people were more united in action and thought, oh diversity you cruel deceptive hag.

Parents can raise and form their child in whatever manner they please, however, this is a little sick and disgusting to me.

Though, with you religious fancies out there, the Holy "Bible" (haha, in the old Hebrew days it was the Holy Word. You guys with your modern fake bible.) specifically tells stories of delicious incest. So, I decree "nothing wrong."

Yikes...

Okay, being nudists doesn't make this okay. Being a "touchy-feely" family doesn't make it okay, either. Families can be very affectionate with each other, but shit... this is completely different. Also, think of what's going to happen when someone makes this kid realize the magnitude of the situation. He's going to lose his fucking mind.

For every one mature person I find out there, giving me hope for the future for this species, I find dozens of stories like this one. This truly makes me think it would be a blessing for humanity to be wiped out.

And people wonder if their can be a divine purpose. Try giving an explanation of it to that little boy, please. "To make the world a better place, you had to be buggered by your parents."

This makes me wish there was a death penalty enforced for this in the U.S. Odds are, they'll get slapped on the wrist, look at a few years in prison (where they'll get shanked, if there is a god), get out and have another child. And thus the cycle will repeat.

There may be all the idiots you speak of but natural selection isn't gone just yet.
This story doesn't really surprise me. "He wants it done" Well that's because he's nine and really doesn't know much else.
