I would like for him to become a gym leader or the champion of the Pokemon league. Then get married to Misty. Wait is she still on the show? I haven't seen it since Pokemon was cool lol. Whatever they do keep making the games please

figures the final option would be winning, but in my opinion this series should NEVER end!! its like a basic part of TV as a whole, like dr who or the simpsons
Jesse and James grow some balls, buy some guns, and murder the main characters and steal their pokemon. The pokemon, shocked and saddened by the loss of their beloved slave mas...err...trainers, kill the universe in a suicide attack.

It isn't exactly how I'd like to see it end, but here's how it's going to end: Ash finally wins a league challenge. At some point, he wins over Jesse, James, and Meowth, and they take down Giovanni and Team Rocket together. Ash takes on the Elite Four (epic battles!, I don't care which Elite Four, probably the ones in HG/SS), becomes Champion, and goes off somewhere to continue to train his Pokemon (exactly where he is in Gold/Silver) and fades into obscurity, then into legend (heart-wrenching scene with all his traveling companions, fade to black). Some years later, a new child dressed suspiciously like Brandon (or whatever his default name is) from FireRed/LeafGreen (looking similar to Ash) is seen at Oak's Lab, collecting his own first Pokemon, saying everything Ash said in the first episode... Oak reminisces about Ash as the original theme music fades up and the camera pans into a bright, blue sky. A faded montage of Ash's adventures plays over the sky as the credits roll and Brandon rides his bike down Route 1 in the background. The montage includes scenes of Gary running the Viridian Gym after Giovanni is defeated/killed/whatever, Brock opening his own Day Care Center with Elm studying Pokemon eggs and such, and several other "where are they now" scenes from the various companions and rivals. Perhaps the final scene shows Ash flying by on Charizard as the kid watches and waves.
Questions are left open. Is this Ash's child? If so, who is the mother? What is everyone up to at this point? Is the story going to start completely over or is this really the end?
Life goes on.
