obviously depends on the people and the setting i mean if its just a couple of mates chatting and listing to music while getting smashed then yea its fun but if its some club with incredably annoying music then no its pretty unlikely unless theres something interesting going on
You just have to be at the right party with the right people. If everyone's drunk or getting stoned then there's no point staying but if you're just hanging out with buddies at a beach of sorts its all good. Don't get me wrong though, I don't hate alcohol but some people really have to learn some self control.
House parties are one of the luxuries of life. Send the word out, give a limit to the amount of people one person can take with them, and boom! you've got a nice gathering where you can meet new people.
As what most people are saying already, it really depends on who your with not what your doing, parties are always a good way to let off steam and just enjoy chatting, dancing, playing pin the tail, whatever yee wana do at a party, but its the people that make it, same with a night out, if you go out to a club and its full of dickheads, itl be a crap night, or maybe itl turn into a massive fight and youll have some bitchin stories to tell the next day
ditto but then again it maybe that i just have too many bad experiences with parties since every time i have one it seems the police come because a party crasher robs me or someone gets beaten up with a brick or stabbed or my house gets vandalizedJedoro said:

As I like to say, good booze, good company, and good music generally makes for a good time.
If you're around a bunch of idiots, playing beer pong or some crap, and they're just belligerent, not so much fun.
At least that's been my experience so far. ^^

Depends on the party. If it's just a party with my friends, booze and music then it can be very fun. Well... That is until a certain two people get angry at each other over a girl, then anyone who even goes near said girl. Like happens at every one of our parties.
I don't really like them, not since my 'friends' ruined my 18th birthday party by leaving to go out on the piss in town. Not my scene, especially cos it made me cry. (I was very, very drunk).
