I'm a PC gamer who doesn't care one way or the other about console gamers. I started on consoles before evolving to PC. Most people do.
I miss the old consoles. I think my one bitterment though, is that games spanning multiple platforms tend to get watered down across the board, due to hardware limitations.

console gamers hate pc gamers because the pc is better than the console in most ways however pc gamers hate console gamers because consoles are sociable yes the console gamers are mostly sad friendless types who would use a console if they had friends. By the way i am a pc gamer who enjoys taunting console gamers because they suck, but i don't really hate them
To be honest I've never really been part of the divide, but after playing team fortress on both console and PC, it's made the difference a bit more clear to me. PCs have that added issue that they need to be maintained to run the newest games, which IMMEDIATLY eliminates some of the most retarded console gamers unless someone else is doing it for them. No offence but console gamings most stupid players are a LOT worse then PC gamings most stupid, but don't be hating just yet, let me just remind you I said the WORST gamers on both platforms NOT all gamers =P
PC gamers prove their love of gaming buy custom building their machine, and taking the time out to install, and (in the past) manually update their games and add-ons and such. The PC gaming industry enjoys a rich history of user end problem solving to overcome any obstacle to make the gaming experience the best that can be. Console gaming is viewed by a true PC gamer as a cheap, lazy, inferior version of a true pastime. This said, I bought a console, and now don't have to put up with new PC gaming bugbears, such as Steam, and have more time and money (and a high end PC that is used to surf the internet and type word documents).
Additionally, PC gamers can generally spell and punctuate correctly on internet forums. It's not an IMS: you have time to type and proof read.

I agree, as a PC gamer i am often depressed to be lumped with those tossers who have forgotten that gaming is about fun, worse than n00bs in my opinion.
wii is not a games console because of the gimmic the average player and the abundance of five day production rate casual games. casual game aren't gamers games because they arn't art. also you jumped to a conclusion about my definition of a gamer. a gamer is somone who plays game and call himself willingly a fan boyof any existing gaming series/franchise and is illing to name themself a gamer which is why i taunt wii gamers for there own good say they can save themselves from the inevitable dissapointment for when nintendo sets about alienating its fanbase. also its fun. online stuff is irelevant even if awsome.mounky said:

fair enough but i think halo is a master piece and ver inovative with rebounding health metres, limited weapon capacity and a melee button (im not to sure on that last one but i think its true). and half life is also a master peice but it was really just a good example of more the same. yeah there weren't cut scenes and a really freaking good story but it was just more of the same. but i really love half life and valve.Izoon said:

And, as for PC against 360/PS3, I get most FPS and RPG games on PC, the 360 is my brother's andI like quite alot of games available for it and PS3 is my primary console.

Most PC gamers are just annoyed by the limitations of playing on a console (like lack of mods, for example) and are used to the superior precision that mouse and keyboard can bring.
Then of course, there's the console gamers. Most of whom are fine, but then there's the ones who come on forums and start having a period about their problems and tarring everyone with the same brush.
Also, console multiplayer is shocking. You have to pay for a decent online service (XBL) and then for some reason there is (unfairly) a limit on the number of players on certain games compared to their PC iterations.
