I'm a PC only gamer and I have no problem with console gamers, in fact I can see many reason why some people would like to perfer consoles over the pc, it can be from many many fundamental reasons such as;
1)simplicity in setup
2)no need to go online for co-op
3)no need for install or patches
(I'm not sure about the patches because I havn't experienced any of the recent consoles) etc.
Imho a gamer is somebody who loves to play games regardless of platforms and if somebody perfers a certain platform? Good for him/her, it's not my place to judge.
Now, at the OP:
The way you started this thread made it look as if you are intentionally starting a flame thread and you really should have known better than to compare PC gamers to "slave owners". So, you don't deserve a shred of sympathy from anybody. On top of that, you're also a hypocrite. (hence a gigantic douchebag)

I would also like to point out that I (well until the PS3 flamed up) owned all the current gen consoles and have a gaming PC. I happen to enjoy some games on the Wii and understand that they would not play well on other systems. I like some exclusives for the 360 and PS3, and some games just play better on the PC, but that is all my opinion.

People on these forums may be familiar with the Modern Warfare 2 escapade. Console gamers just sometimes don't "get it", they don't get what makes PC gaming tick for the people who do choose the PC as a gaming platform. That leads to backlash and console gamers stating "Who cares? The game is the same as on console!". Meanwhile the PC gamers are facepalming, and rather than going through the effort educating the ill-informed console player they may come off short and probably a bit elitist.
If PC gamers wanted to play a console style game, they'd buy a console, and many have both. However there are still reasons for being a PC gamer. The reasons may not be as pronounced as in the past, but they are still there. People just need to understand the reasons are more than having a 1337 gaming rig they can brag about, or using keyboard and mouse. It's the configurability, the moddibility, and the community. When people try to take these things away, and PC gamers get angry, Console gamers just need to understand why.

Who said that I exclusively play on PC? I like pulling my old xbox out from time to time to play some of the games on there that aren't on PC. I just think that console gamers have different tates from me and that's fine.Douk said:
