Short story: Nobody goes to a porn site to learn about social/environmental/political issues. They go to fap.

But I'm curious Escapees, do you think that any of these ads actually raise awareness?
Basically what you already said my good sir. These dumbf*cks constantly irritate me in ways one could only imagine with their petty and failed attempts at making a statement.

1.) No one takes it seriously
2.) If they use nude women then no one will really give a damn about anything else majority of the time
3.) People don't look to porn for a meaningful message. I'm talking to every jackass that thought A Serbian Film held any validity as a socio-political message. *Chortles* Can't believe I said that with a straight face.

So in short. No. This by far one of the stupidest things PeTA has recently done and no matter how much they try and grab at people's attention or raise awareness I will NEVER take anything they say seriously.

[HEADING=2] And now for Noob Saibots opinion on the subject matter

I take Noobs message to heart and will partake in the consumption of delicious bacon[/HEADING]

"Alright, guys. We have all these extra funds from our supporters. What do we do with it?"

"How about we use it to make animal shelters and actually save animals?"

"I dunno... It doesn't sound like it's gonna make a very large effect on people"

"How about we make a porn site? That way we can raise people's.... awareness"

"that's genius! and our supporters will love it"
Welcome to planet earth. "Enjoy" your stay.

Next thing you know we're gonna see a "I'd rather go naked than eat meat" campaign.
HA! Knowing PeTA, such a campaign is not too far off. Are any of those Bimbos they get to pose naked actually vegans? Or are they just brainless eye candy getting paid some decent money to make a very irrelevant and idiotic statement?

So how does that work? Do you get 2 minutes of porn followed by pictures of dead kittens? Because I don't think that's gonna have the desired effect.

Brilliant idea PETA, just fucking brilliant.

People can have temporary fetishes created by association of an unrelated item with sexual content as shown by research.

So...so your plan is to mix pornography and graphic images of animal cruelty. This will not do what you think. This will, in fact, be hilariously counter productive, since instead of people finding it shocking they'll basically begin to fap to it.
Thus explains my irreversible boners I get whenever I see Pyramid head.......

I might need Therapy...alot of it

Scary thing is, first thing I thought when reading the title of this thread was a website displaying PETA's LOVE for animals.

Ah, but thank you sir, I have not laughed like that in far too long. PETA is so great, they are the best entertainment in the world.

OH MY GAHD! What exactly is going to be on this site? Is there going to be a photo captioned: "I'd rather eat cock than sausage"?

How the hell would this work!? I wonder if they realize the people visiting this site are going to be too busy wanking to notice the moral message! They won't care!

This is completeley pointless. You see, there is only one group who tends to visit that kind of website, and that group usually likes meat. And the contents would be incredably distracting from what they are trying to achieve.

This is possibly the worse marketing scheme I have ever heard of. Not only did PETA shoot themselves in the foot, *looks down at PETA's foot* "oh wait, they blew it off already," but they also fail to realize that people are more likely to be eating bacon while going onto the site anyways. Will their message be received? of course not, because people will be too distracted watching porn anyways (I wonder what those words ar- OMFG SHE'S DOING IT! SCOOOORE!) This won't change peoples opinions about animals, for they will still eat them, and only just have a taste for watching hardcore action while doing so (So PETA will give rise to a new fetish [or make it more popular]? I think that's about it).

God damn PETA pisses me off some times for being so stupid...

Say you're a regular Joe coming home from work. Your boss has been riding your ass all week, you'll have to work over the weekend, you received a ticket after you parked on the disabled space to buy a pack of smokes, your landlord wants his back payment for ten months tomorrow and you witnessed a mob hit and now Don Pizzarelli wants your head on a plate. You decide your only option right now is to choke the chicken a couple times before bed and worry about it all later.

Now, you have two choices: The porn site that makes you look at abused animals, or the TENS OF MILLIONS of other porn sites.

I gotta say, I think PETA may just have had the best idea ever.

I suppose that gigantic side banners with a "Don't eat meat, ya douche!" messages might be, if not more pleasant, then at least less intrusive than a "Your penis can be thiiiiiiiisss beeeeeiig!!!" banner.

When over half the respondents select "Bacon", you know you've hit a goldmine of WTF.

Anyways, while rules 34 and 36 DO exist, they don't go well with environmental messages... especially from the only group insane enough to try it.
