Okay people, an idea crossed my mind the other day. Ever since I was a toddler and I first saw Captain Blood, I've wanted a ship. Just a little(ish) one. I figured it'd never happen unless I won the lottery. However, if I got a big fuckin' loan, and spent it all on the ship (a nice, curvy, matte black Spanish Galleon), fillin' it full of sofas, tables, hammocks and rum, and gettin a pubbin' license, it'd probably pay for itself. Especially if I brought in a few more gimmicks:
-People in nautical themed dress drink half price
-daily and nightly swordfighting shows
-wenches
-rum
-ale
-wine
-mead
-absinthe (just because)
-wenches
-and a few more things that I forgot.
I could probably even convince Alestorm to play a coupl'a gigs... I could pay 'em in rum, hehe.
So, what does everybody think?
EDIT- Just remembered the things I forgot; Private parties, weddings and funerals (if someone wants to be buried at sea). I imagine a fair few people would pay to get married on a ship...

There's a zombie bar somewhere in St. Paul or Minneapolis... where everyone working there or most anyone visiting there dress as zombies.

So why not a pirate bar? I say it's about damned time.

So...You're planning a Pirate Bar?

Sure, why not, we have one near where I live and apparently it's pretty awesome, gets a fair bit of business.

I'm pretty sure I've heard of a pirate bar opening in my town, still to check it out but I've heard from a few people...

I shall report back, cap'n.

Does this have anything to do with a certain pub aboard a ship in the Imperial City from Oblivion? Because I'd love to go to a place like that to unwind.

Y'know... minus the hijacking...

Exactly. 'Cept it'd look more like the other ship.

You know, of course that some one would have to open a Ninja pub right next door. Other than that though, best idea evarr.

<color=purple> I see that you've mention wenches twice. Was that a purposeful or possibly subconscious act towards supplying twice the amount of wenches per square plank? Eh? :D

I suppose it's lucky Cardiff has a port... Once you get this idea going, you best come here first! ;)

Wait, Captain Blood is a movie?!? How old is it? I just read the original book about a month ago! SO GOOD!!!

Anyway, that would be a great pub. Especially if it's actually on a boat! I'M ON A BOAT!

A Pirate Bar sounds like an awesome place if I were old enough to drink and had developed a taste for alcohol.

Like wenches?
And don't forget the "Ninjas pay double price"-sign!

I may be convinceable to visit this etablissement sometimes...
Oh, screw it. I'd have to be forced to leave. Just make sure you take away my cutlass!
Probably like any other great place it'll be hundrets of thousands of miles away from my location, but go ahead anyway if possible!

First off, Fire is a BIG issue, You dont want everything going up in smoke.
Next, gutting out a boat & turning it into a Bar will cost a LOT of money.
You'll then need to Moor it, Maintain it, And have a Seaworthy crew on top of that...
And then theres the issue of theft too.

Sorry to be a kill joy, But theres some big flaws in the plan, But it is a nice idea.

Ehh, that don't matter, nobody'd be able to see it (Ba-Dum Tish).

Hahaha, sorry dude, it was purely intentional. Just for emphasis, you know?
