Someone give me a quick rundown, which party is most likely to make things better around here, or which party is going to do the least damage? From what I've read so far it looks like we're all fucked either way.

Well, the Liberals are against fast internet, so if you like the internet, don't vote for them.

Tony Abbott is a lying bastard who will more than likely drive the country into the ground.

Labour or Greens would be my choice.

Since there's no equivalent to Italian Futurism. I lean with the Liberals, at least tey can actually do some good without lying to our face, or installing Keating, or hiring brothels with tax money, or deciding to flip the leadership we voted for, or telling us there will be no carbons tax, then creating a carbon tax.

That and Sarah Hanson Young vexes me greatly.
Yeah. It's not like the Liberals ever said there would be no GST, then implemented the GST. Oh wait...

OT: The two major parties are a choice between right wing and marginally less right wing. I support the Greens. I don't agree with all their policies but they are the only ones who pretend to give a fuck about animals and refugees, which is more than anyone else can say.

I am really not a fan of Australian politics. But I generally go Labour, except in the last state election which I went Liberal. I was sick of Anna Bligh and while I prefer Labour over Liberal, Labour has been in power in Queensland for way too long and they were getting slobby.

It just gets annoying when I go to vote and my train of thought isn't "I like this party more than the other," but rather more like "I hate this party slightly less than the other."

Either way we're pretty screwed. Both parties spend for time bagging each other than working on helping the country. Right now I'm slightly leaning towards Liberals though because Gullard has no emotion whatsoever and will really screw things up with this carbon tax.

I doubt the politics in this country will ever improve. Both major parties seem to do the exact same things and disregard policy as soon as they are elected. Vote for Australian Sex Party, at least their views on social problems are progressive.

I vote greens, mostly cause they are the only faction of the left after labour have moved more and more into the centre. I hate tony Abbot with a passion though. the guy acts like a 2 year old who has learnt his first word, and that word is "NO"

If Tony Abbot wins the next election, I'm moving to Norway. Seriously. Or the US and work in our New York office.

Call me crazy but I kinda miss KRudd. I'm not sure but maybe it is because that out of the crap we're stuck with these days, he was much more palatable. Also, yeah Howard, they did do pretty well for us despite how many people he annoyed for whatever reason (yeesh, don't start my grand mother up on him!).

On the whole, I'm not a fan of any of the parties really. None of them seem to actually care for what I want so I don't really care for them. Usually I just go with 'the devil you know' type of approach, and I think I will probably vote labour again since Abbot kinda scares me.

Side note does anyone else think Gillard sounds... false... I mean, more so than other politicians... like literally, she sounds like some sort of computer generated recording.
