I figured the corrupt guy would be most effective. We don't want someone inexperienced of incompetent. Guess it's Teddy for me.

I chose C, Hitler. For the exact same reasons countless others did. He was charismatic and frankly an astounding leader. He of course wasn't a good person but he was a great orator and knew how to get people moving.
This. What he did with Germany was astounding. What he did to Germany is a different matter.
It wasn't so much what he did to Germany as it was the Jews, Homosexuals, and pretty much anyone that didn't support the cause.

And to be fair, I don't see any difference between A relying on astrologers and C, for example, being a christian. Both of these things are bullshit in my eyes, and if either have any effect on their political decisions - *looks at Bush and his whole "God told us to -" statements" - then fuck them.
Hitler wasn't a Christian, that's a common but unfortunate misunderstanding. He consulted with astrologers and tried communicating with dead German kings as well, and was very into much of that stuff commonly called new-age and neo-pagan or even wiccan. Its one of those things that has been interestingly forgotten or ignored.
source then i'll believe

Biography on Adolf by a Frenchman. Think it was "The Fuhrer behind Hitler" (translated name). Found it in the Library one day. That's all I remember. It went through a lot of interesting things about the man, like a love-hate thing with Charlie Chaplain movies, his love-hate relationship with the Arabs and his work in animal rights.

I chose C...
AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!
But Winston Churhill is the best! If we had more politicians like him, we all would probably be better off.

I picked B because I read a Winston Churchill bio not to long ago and most of that was in there so I put two and two together and I knew C was Hitler, I also am educated in his biography. For a second I though A was Nixon because now looking at it he is very similar to T. Roosevelt.

I'd like to ass option D and get Clinton back though lol

Let the record show that, had you mentioned the 6 million jews, I probably wouldn't have picked C.

By the way, this is also a very interesting study in people voting in polls before reading the original post.

bravo on the paradigm breaker.

I picked A.

associates with crooked politicians: good! cannot have an autistic hermit for a leader, can we?

consults with astrologists: he honestly knows, as a politician, he has no idea what he's doing.

had two mistresses: awesome!

he also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day: the small pleasures in life.

I don't think that saying option "C" is Adolf Hitler is exactly fair... you left out the "vicious racist" part.
I was just picking the guy I thought had good judgement... doing healthy things. I don't do much of the healthy stuff you mentioned... I like my politicians to be better than me.

I think the options need revising.
C doesn't have time for extra-marital affairs because he's boning his neice and exterminating a race of people.
A and B both sound like fun people to hang around with so I'd want them in politics.

It's all too damn confusing.

still those where their attributes roosevelt delt with crooked politicians winston was kicked out of office and the most scandalous thing hitler ever did was be patriotic (im not siding with him the holocaust was actually out of patriatism)
Where those the only attributes?

No.

This is why this example, as well as the abortion one, doesn't show or prove a thing other than things can be skewed... which everyone knows anyway.

What I'm getting at is that just about everyone who's at the age to vote for a leader is at the point where they realize this.

Or, to put it another way:

Choose one of the two carefully:

1. One kills you.

2. One relieves your pain.

Which would you prefer?

Well, the first one is water, which having had enough of it in a short period of time will kill you. The other is oxycodone, which, having had enough of it in a short period of time will kill you.

This doesn't really mean anything though, and that's the point.

either way as politicians theses were pretty much their attributes. Most people liked and trusted hitler cause he was so charismatic the only down fall was he was sora messed in the head(if you knew him personaly he was an amaizing guy)
