10 guage and 12 guage shotguns, 9mm pistol and a .357 magnum loaded with .38's. None of which are mine (the magnum and one of the shotguns was my cousin's and the other shotgun and 9mm was my friend's uncle's). I don't own a gun or really plan to. Also I'm from the US.

EDIT: actually it was a 20 guage and 12 guage. my bad.

I live in Ireland fired a shot gun and killed a pidgeon which was quite tasty. I have also fired a silenced scoped hunting rifle which was quite run as at about 50 yards I got all my shots within about the radius of a ten cent coin of the first bar one due to a fly landing on my nose and me twitching. Whether or not that is actually any good for a first time on it or not I don't care I just think it sounds good.

I love my .40 Taurus, I shoot that sucker as often as I can (at targets, no living targets at this point). It's good stuff know and it's a fucking blast to do! I'd rather know how to use it in the right situation than to be a total moron when it comes to being in a live-fire situation.

I live in the US by the way and no I'm not some crazed "redneck" just because I own a gun and know well how to use it.
I don't think that's the objection people tend to have, it's not that have a gun makes you a 'crazed redneck', it's more that fact that being a crazed redneck isn't a hindrance to actually acquiring a gun.
So long as they're using it for home protection then I have no problem with any sane person owning a weapon.
When was the last time you met a completely sane person?

I live in Washington State, I own a lever action .22 Henry rifle and an M1917 Remington made by Enfield. I use the .22 quite a bit for target practice and pest control, the M1917 not so much because it's .30-06 and makes a lot of noise and ammo for it's expensive WHEN you can find it these days.

Yes I've fired a few. M16, M4, AK-47, SKS, Mosin Nagant, M1, M249 SAW, 240G, 240B, M2, MK-119, and numerous shotguns, pistols and hunting rifles.
I live in the USA and I was in the USMC (which explains the machine-guns).

I used to shoot a lot. My sport was clay pigeon shooting and my primary weapon was a Browning O/U 12.

Unfortunately, I managed to badly break my collarbone a few years back, not a clean break but a splinter. The resulting op left an awkward lump right where I'd pull the stock into my shoulder.........shitcakes!

It's back to full strength now, but I haven't getten back into the shooting. I should do at some point as I wasn't too bad at it, but something always comes up before I get around to it.

Had a license, lost interest, gave my license up. Shotgun, rifle, and .38 long-barrel magnum. Good fun, while it lasted.

I have never shot a gun(I've holded real guns but never shot with them), but I would like to shot at targets(as in not-living targets). I really do love guns, specially the ones from the USSR, it's a weird fetiche I supposse.

oh, and I was born and live in Spain(it's in the south-west of Europe in case you didn't know) which doesn't have strict gun control, as far as I'm concerned. not as easy in the US though, that's just too simple

I've actually applied for my H1 license, which grants me the ability to fire weapons unsupervised, and will likely apply for my owner's license, if a year or so of firing range pistols proved to be of enough interest to me, and buy my own to store at home.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm in Australia - the US's slightly older and much cooler brother. You know, the one that everyone prefers to hang out with and go to the pub with.
Holy cow, that's a lot of stuff to go through just to get a gun. Here, as long as you're mentally fit you can own a gun. Handguns have higher restrictions, but needing a license to even fire unsupervised? That's tough.

I'm miffed over the procedure required to buy a pistol here in Michigan in the US; I have to go to the law enforcement center to get a permit to purchase, then I have to go buy, then I have to take the gun to the LEC again to finish the registration. Oh and they're only open when I'm at work so I'd have to take time off.
I don't think it's that harsh. High death tolls and injuries by guns are because they're too easy to get. If I know that my fellow countrymen have to apply for a license, undergo training sessions on proper care, use and maintenance, apply for a license to own and keep a gun, and undergo regular inspections to make sure it's stored in line with state legislation - well, I just sleep better at night.
I can understand that. But I wonder where the line is between responsible gun ownership being enforced by laws, and the law being used to suppress responsible gun ownership. I don't know if Australia's crossed it, but I do know at least here there's a stigma associated with it, to the point that unless you're talking guns with gun people, you'll get a bit of a reputation as a crazy gun nut, even if you're not. And non-gun people are a bit nervous of your interests.

Savage 110 in .270 with a synthetic stock and 3-9X32 Nikon scope.
Winchester 1300 12 gauge with synthetic stock with 2-7X32 Nikon scope.
Ruger 10/22 with a wood stock (think its oak, not positive) with a 4X Nikon scope.
Remington 870 in 20 gauge with laminated wood stock and a Bushnell scope (first gun i ever owned)

Never once. I think it might be interesting to try, but I'm in no hurry. I'd rather learn proper swordsmanship, to tell the truth. Ha.
