i use to pop tanks for the airforce and and i was also trained how to use my side arm which for me was a Guncrafter Industries Model No. 1 .50 calibre semi automatic pistol it was heavy and had almost no magazine capacity but i probably wouldn't have had to shoot anyone had it come down to that because it scared the crap out of people since it blew holes in block walls

Fired a gun once (more like went to a shooting range once) got to pop of handguns from 22 (which I inexplicably love more than anything in the world, it's kinda like a bb gun you can kill stuff with) up to a 50 (which was just...wow)
Also tried an old Russian sniper rifle and an AK (unfortunately it didn't have grandfathered in auto, so I had to stick with semi). It was pretty nifty, suppose I wouldn't mind shooting again, if only because I do plan to own a gun someday and if I'm going to own a gun I'm going to want know how to shoot it, but other than it being an interesting experience and a good time with buddies, it really wasn't anything special. I live in the USA btw.

I've fired

a .22 rifle, repeatedly
a 7,62mm rifle, can't remember if it was 308 or 30-06
a Glock 17
an AK-5
a single barreled break-action shotgun

All of these fired on a range

I live in Sweden

Yes, at a gun range once. I sucked with it (mostly because I couldn't figure out exactly how they wanted me to line up the sights). It was some bolt action rifle that didn't have a clip and required you to load each bullet manually.

I've shot an M1 Grande, a .30-06, a Beretta, and several others on multiple occasions. Always wore proper eye and ear protection. The M1 Grande is my favorite, not bad recoil and easy to aim with.

Yeah Europe, you heard right, we Americans don't all run around everywhere with the safety off.

Yes, Im from America, and I own my guns.
I have a .22, Two Benelli Nova Pumps .12 and a .20 gauge, a Remington 11-87, and a .257 Roberts.
Then the house is filled with other rifles, shotguns, and handguns from my dad and brother.

I've shot several rifles (all around general hunting calibre), one assault rifle (in semi-auto mode, 5.56mm I believe) and one pistol (9mm) in my lifetime, the AR and pistol belonged to the Canadian Armed Forces, I fired them at a shooting range.

The rifles I've fired belonged to others in the middle of the forest at cans, metal plates, trees, etc.

I also own and regulary use a pellet rifle (.117) to deal with squirrels around the property. I live in Canada, by the way.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I've also fired a shotgun that belonged to the CAF at the same shooting range that I fired the AR and pistol at.

Since your poll doesn't have the option, I'll just write it here.

Yes, I have shot a gun. Two different ones actually. One was a .357 Magnum and the other was a .22 rifle. Neither of them were mine or my parents. I live in America.

Me too. Well, if you can call the GP a gun, they only barely qualify./Cadet force in-joke.
Me three. Wasn't a particularly big fan of the bigger rifles, I'm a wuss and the kickback and racket they made wasn't really for me. Absolutely loved shooting the .22 rifles though, but I was so rubbish at it I never did get my Marksman.
