Meh, it is what it is. That being said there are of course exceptions. I don't care what you say, there are always exceptions. There are plenty of things that exist and don't have any porn of them. An easy example would be me. I know I exist and I know for a fact that there is no pornographic anything of me anywhere. The list could go on, but I don't feel like wasting my time. In the end 34 is mostly something used for shock value. It's fun to mess with people especially those who have a strong image of something, childhood memories, that would be easy to corrupt. Then again if you have any kind of mental fortitude then 34 means nothing and you can just go about your business however you please.

the more a amusing and some times scarier rule is the one that states 'no matter the character there is an opposite gender version some where, unless said character gender is already iffy' yeah not the wording used but i cant spell the other one

I don't mind it all, after all most of it is just art work and some are actually really good.

Granted that they're some really fucked rule 34 images for example I once came across Slenderman porn yes you read that right, Slenderman porn.

Although when ever I do come across an image like that, I always remember that other Internet rule, can't remember the number but it goes something like this.

I think that Rule 34 is an example of the sheer depth of humanity's potential to create... as traumatizing as the majority of these creations can be. I support the rule, because it can only hurt those who stumble upon it... satiate... those who genuinely enjoy it. Most fan made porn is drastically opposed to the creator's vision, but I like to see fan communities take characters and stories in new directions.

Bottom line- there are those who appreciate the work on it's own merit and do not wish to see it turned into a porn, and those who think Zuko and Katara would have made much more sense together. And they will not be easily dissuaded, so don't mess with them.

Because people have differing opinion on EVERYTHING. What you think is hot is based upon your own perspective is just that. A singular perspective. The same as everyone else. That's why Rule 34 exists, because for every creation ever made, there will be a person who thinks is beautiful.

I guess I have a bit of a bias opinion, I love the stuff and as an erotic photographer much of my work has been cosplay erotica which is technically rule 34.

Honestly some of it is entirely too creepy, some of it is weird, some of it is very amazing and sensual as well.

In the end each to their own, as long as they don't hurt another person I don't care what they want to look at.
