if it's a charachter of your own fine then but I think it's horrible if anyone ever makes it of something I'd look for. I was looking up pictures of the pokemon pignite (just the word pignite nothing else) and saw a picture of a pignite raping a victini
It seems this problem could be easily rectified by turning safesearch on.

Proverbs 12:8

"A man will be praised according to his insight, But one of perverse mind will be despised."

I detest it.

Hell. Fucking. Yes. I love it :D Yeah, sure I hate a LOT of the stuff, but with anthropomorphization(my GOD, this word) and the right aesthetic style, stuff can become oddly appealing(and hilarious) :>

as I said in a different comment that didn't help I looked up croconaw after turning it on as a test and I immedietly saw a picture of a croconaw with what I can only presume was a large malformed purple penis corvered in what the tags called "spooge"

I believe Rule 34 is healthy for the same reason I believe good childhood TV shows should have some amount of nightmare fuel in them.
It works out your coping mechanism.
I also respect the creator's creative ability, out of humor or perversion, to reach into their mind's shadow and give it form.

Oh god the nightmares, it doesn't stop, Why did I challenge you rule #34!!!!!!

Basically I've learned (Through experience sadly) never to challenge the all mighty power of rule #34 because it is always right. I don't care that people create it and fap to it (don't know how some people can fap to some of that stuff) because I don't search for the stuff so I am safe barring it isn't on any of the porn sites I frequent.

Hurray for the internet. Anything you can imagine exists, does! If you don't like it, you aren't prepared for the future!
Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to go look at artwork of the Kool-Aid man getting gang banged by Count Chocula, The Trix Rabbit, and Cap'n Crunch!
Good lord that is so true.

I think rule 34 is equal parts amusement at the ridiculous(e.g. laughing at the fact that a picture containing a Disney Princess, a man in a Godzilla costume and 6 empty cans of cool whip exists) and the usual draw of explicit materials (e.g. enjoying the last example in a few more ways).

I think that it's not a bad thing, as long as it tastefully keeps itself separate from the other parts of the internet, and then we can all enjoy it in ways most of us are uncomfortable discussing in public.

Just never search female characters in Google with no filter.

I typed in Fluttershy because of morbid curiosity and turned off safe search and the second image is porn. The SECOND image! Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut

Just keep it away from me and I couldn't care less. I don't care how much you think Takato and Henry from Tamers would make a cute couple, and I don't care that one character acts sweet. I don't want to see them naked and doing out of character sex.

And stop drawing penises on things that don't have penises. They are wangless for a reason.

So long as I don't have to see it, I'm okay whatever it is.

Calumon: I don't even know what that rule means, so it must be silly! Why don't we have one where people get a cream puff when they be nice on the internet? That'll make people be nice and eat more cream puffs! :D
I'm curious now as to whether Calumon applies to this rule... would you two like to test it?
Hey look! There's a glowing red dot on your chest that looks remarkably similar to my targeting laser for my Orbital Desu cannon, filling your mind with non-stop Desu spam! Why don't we all just never mention the words "Calumon" and that rule together again? That way, we all be friends!

Calumon: And then we're all nice and can get Cream Puffs! :D

Good porn is good porn.

What it's based one doesn't really change much.
so what's the definition of good porn? does it cover 13 year old girls being raped by garbage monsters while simultaneously being pumped full of toxic fluids to the point of nearly bursting?

As a general rule I'm ok with it... however some stuff people spay on TF2 maps is... frightening... really frightening...
I wander if anyone has ever sprayed tf2 porn( if it exists)?

OT: I think that anyone can be aroused by anything, so this basically gives them what they need.

I feel like this could be a trap...

Anyway, not something I'm interested in whatsoever but if someone gets off at the thought of a gorilla and a metal flagpole getting it on then whatever, go for it. I'd rather they drew it then went out there looking for gorilla flagpole sex.

Some R34 is just too absurd to be taken seriously and quite hilarious (think Tetris blocks).

Also, having a character with personality makes the thing alot more 3-Dimensional than some actors you don't care about.

Porn is subjective, just like non-pornographic media.

I'm trying to say that it's unusual to have any sort of opinion on rule 34 beyond "it's porn". It's not as if someone here has collectively gone through every example of rule 34 ever, giving them a rating of 1 to 10 and then mathematically determining the average rating.

Unless, of course, one has issue with the concept of erotic parody.
