I've played through multiple times and it's never gotten boring. Also if you hate on the song then you are a fool because that was the greatest song of all time

Portal - GLaDOS humor = Puzzle game
Puzzle game - the challenge = Hedge maze

So in other words, there are a few key aspects of Portal that make it great. Yes, they have been absolutely KILLED by the fanboys who have over-used the material to death, but that doesn't make the game any less fun.

That song has been horribly butchered along with many other things in Portal.

I loved portal, both the gameplay and the writing were brilliant, something you see all too rarely. However, at this point, I despise portal references. This is due to the fact that they have been spewed forth far too often, and any humour they once held is stale, dead, and buried about 10 metres underground.

The lack of nudity in Portal just ruined the game for me. If you make your main character a female and have mirrors in the game, nudity is obviously the first thing you program.

Hopefully they rectify this issue in Portal 2.

Portal wasn't that good. Team Fortress 2 is way better, horrible bugs and all! And how come no one ever mentions Half Life? The series is way better than Portal can ever wish to be!

I ended up getting Portal by itself couple days before Christmas for $10 course it and TF2 had been available as indivdiual sales for months and I knew my parents wouldn't get me an M rated game so I bought it as an early Christmas present to me and a PC possible of running it two days later of my own.
I loved the humor, the portals, the challenges and Portal Prelude has yet to disappoint me.

And no matter how many times I play, the promise of cake keeps me going.

After I found out that I wouldn't be getting the cake, I decided to bake my own.
