I really got pissed off about Anna Nicole Smith's death. Okay, not so much about her death, but more the insane amount of coverage that her festering corpse was getting, thus reaffirming my hatred of the news media and the 74% of Americans who actually gave a shit about this kind of crap.

He made a huge contribution to Australian native wildlife, the research he invested so much into still continues, and the wildlife shelters and clinics he funded are still operating, helping save endangered species.

Edit: granted that with the kind of work the man did, he should have died much younger!

Otis Redding. Basically I had spent almost half a year listening to (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay and decided to look Otis up on Wikipedia. It turned out the song was a change in style from his what he usually did and that it was not finished when he died in a plane crash

Also for some reason Freddie Mercury saddens me more than most celebrity deaths do

I wasn't knocking Holly, I know what he did. I'm just saying I'm happy Dimebag wasn't at the bottom. Though, I don't get why Cobain is higher up. He didn't do much aside from drugs and suicide. /shrug
