Would Nazi-ism be a legitimate, even admirable thing do you think, after all pre-war/labour camps etc it was not really any different from most other political parties

Germany, and especially Austria I believe, are very quick to crack down on anything that could remotely be supportive of the National Socialist Party or the Holocaust. I seem to recall a couple of years back, a celebrity got in a lot of trouble for going to Austria, as they had banned him from the country for openly denying the Holocaust.

I can't really stand behind this question, as Hitler was undeniably insane even before his rise to power. It was before then that he wrote Mein Kampf while in prison for a failed revolution in Munich.

Well, I have no idea what the gnome is. It could be either.

It could be promoting the act of Nazi gestures, as the authorities thought, or it could be ridiculing them, by referring to them as a short race with beards, and thus are inferior to the rest of the world. Or it could be promoting/ ridiculing them or any other reason obviously.
