Playing Call of Duty has shown me just how bad can rage and ***** about something over the internet. Be it the rage quitters, the control destroyers, or the people who complain about the bullshit of the game.

I cant say I've never been mad or frustrated with a game but to take it to the level of Call of Duty or to the point where you throw your controller seems a little much. Sixty dollars for a few moments of stress relief is a crappy trade off.

I quit online gaming because it made me too angry.

Other people ruin my fun because they're better than me! Damn them!

Prince of Persia 2008 made me rage too with its crappy combat.

I get very annoyed but never rage like. I don't yell abuse at players although they do get on my tits.

I get the "rage" sometimes, but I just switch off the game and take deep breaths.

My brother on the other hand must have gone through at least 5 PS2 controllers until learnt it wasnt worth the expense.

I've been exceptionally angry at several games in the recent past [small](Overlord II springs to mind - if you've watched the Zero Punctuation review of the game you'll know the part I mean because that's where Yahtzee just stopped playing it, such is the frustratingly stupid-hard difficulty of that section)[/small], but I've never done anything stupid as a result of it, beyond screaming incoherently to myself that is.

I still get angry at puzzle games and flash games because I can't finish them. That's about it though.

I've gotten angry while playing a game before, but it wasn't the game that made me angry so I guess that doesn't count.

And no, I've never done something stupid out of videogame-induced rage.

im a very calm player. my brother on the other hand constantly yells at the tv every time he dies, or misses a shot. luckily he outgrew the phase of chucking the controller at the ground. he killed 6 controllers that way.

I'm usually pretty calm. I've had one incident where I nearly destroyed something. N+ is a good game, but the last, and I mean VERY LAST level on the psp version is stupidly luck based and unfair. Other than the usual grumbling in CoD (which I traded in because I think the online was meh) and complaints about idiots in MAG who seemingly troll by purposefully bleeding out right before you're about to resuscitate them, I'm fairly calm and patient when it comes to difficulty in games.
Well, actually, scratch that. I recall getting angry at Dragon Valor on psx and breaking the non-dualshock controller that initially came with the console.

Wow, just found this article, maybe they should post it in Call of Duty menus.

http://ragequitter.com/

You get pissed off because that guy has killed you for the fifth time in a row even though you shot at him with your noob tube. Then join Rage Quitters Anonymous. Are proven 12 method will have you staying in games regardless of how many times you get kill by quote unquote bullshit.

Remember kids, Give a shit, Dont rage quit!

I have definitely nerd-raged out on more than one occasion while playing WoW over the achievement "The Immortal" (anyone who has ever done or tried for this achievement knows what I am talking about). I ended up punching a wall and bloodying my knuckles and I had to go for a 20 minute walk to cool off.

I'm so glad I stopped playing WoW.

Not since I was like 12. I was an angry son of a ***** back then. Nowadays I know shit costs money and raging gets you nowhere. From time to time I hulk-smash my leg (usually because of goddamn fucking rubberband AI).

Hmm...
I have done something stupid, but it was just to be annoying, not because I was pissed off.

There's a custom campaign for both L4D1 and L4D2 that has these fireworks that keep respawning.
Now... the first time I played the map I had to see this happening... so while two of my teammates were within the blast area (eh... they were kinda jerks, so why the fuck not?) so I shot the fireworks and jumped out of the way. One guy died immediately, and the other one was trapped in a small corner of the maze. (That's because the fireworks kept respawning while that portion of the maze was still on fire) If you pick up the "Left 4 Cake" campaign, I suggest you try this glitch out, its worth a few giggles.

Other than that... the worst I've done is shout "fuck you" into a mike before rage-quitting... because everyone I was playing with was an asshole.
