I didn't do anyone, my Shepard's heart still belongs to Ashley Williams.
I wasn't thrilled with Ashley's reaction on Horizon, although the email was interesting. But I did like the way Liara was portrayed in ME2 - her character had developed and deepened, so I'm glad I stayed true to her with my second Shepard.

Miranda opened up and become more human, more vulnerable and more interesting as the conversations progressed. Jack just had too much hostility to make me interested in seeing what was or wasn't underneath.

Although, with the number of people who went for Tali "just to see what's under that mask", I wouldn't be surprised if there's already a manifestation of Rule 34 somewhere involving a volus...

[With sexual overtones] Would you like to come up to my place for coffee?

[Suggestively] Why don't I slip into something more comfortable?

[Conveying extreme pleasure] Yeah, baby, yeah.

Miranda was annoying, Tali was an enemy (geth supremacy!), Morinth killed you and samara...was a disappointment.
Jack was awesome and always walked around topless....I picked Jack.

ETA: I'm also planning on doing another run from 1 to 2 with no romance in the first...
I never really thought about doing that. Its a good idea, and hopefully they will address it in ME3.

-30G Space Loner. "Really? You couldn't find time to romance even a fictional girl?"
Ahaha, that'd be entertaining. But I meant I just wouldn't romance anyone in the first, I would go for one (... probably Garrus again, I am terrible when it comes to playing favorites) in the second.

Maybe I'd do a third iteration with no romance period. -shrug-

Jack was the most badass chick I've ever seen in... anything. I never once got annoyed at her, and she never once pissed me off. I don't know why, but I've always liked that kind of person. I guess that makes me a masochist?

Anyone but Jacob.

Seriously, does anyone likes Jacob ? personality-wise or even gameplay-wise, he sucks so hard...

He's been nicknamed Jacob the Janitor on my Normandy.
...

-raises hand- If they hadn't brought back my favorite character from the first game, I'd have picked Jacob.

Also, did anyone else accidentally get Mordin's shooting down of any relationship? Who would of thought HE would end up with an unwanted harem?

I chose Miranda. My supporting evidence, your honor.

And Miranda was a pretty cool lady.
I forgot that she was based off a real person. I wonder if that means that one day she will accidentally be called Miranda... that could lead to some interesting problems.
Slipped my mind as well.
OT: Tali. She seem a lot easier to get along with then anyone else, except Garrus.

For interesting characters, I do think the best back-story and dialogue was Thane. His character was awesome.

I didn't try to romance Mordin, i do know however he has some "useful" advice if you're asking him how to make the thing with Tali works!

Hey, Salarians negotiate reproduction contracts based on "lineage quality" , considering how brilliant Mordin is, i presume he's quite the prize...for a Salarian ;)

Edit: As far as inter-species goes, i always get a chuckle out of "In addition, killing the thresher maw has produced several breeding requests for Grunt, and one for Shepard"

Tali, because honestly, out of the three chicks she had the only personality I liked. Miranda being to much of an ice queen, and Jack being too crazy for me, even after I figured her out. Tali on the other hand didn't need me to prove anything to her and she didn't need to prove anything to me, wasn't constantly wangsting about her own problems, and also had the nervous tendencies that made her a rounded out character....

Also I'm a sucker for wide hips and snug suits.

It's even funnier when you play a female Shepard.

And I didn't try to romance him either... I just talked to him a lot xD Particularly enjoyed the singing, I'm trying to memorize it.

Tali, because she had a personality, and she was likable. Jack had a personality too, but she was annoying. Miranda has little personality, and only existed to please those who spent the entire game staring at her ass. I don't think I've ever heard anyone pick Miranda for any other reason that.

Garrus for my female Shepherd. Then Garrus again because my next play through was female as well. I just like Jennifer Hale's voice (I think it's her).
And if I were playing a male...well, I'd go Tali, but I'd be thinking of Garrus.

Yeah, it's her. ... I found it a little funny she did the sounds for Samus in Prime 3, since female Shepard could probably hold her own against Samus. Provided the latter had already lost most of her upgrades, anyway.

I'll admit Jennifer Hale's voice work is much much more impressive than his male counterpart (emotionless much?)

Though if we go only by voice, Yvonne Strahovski (Miranda) wins i think (She was also awesome in Chuck, but that's way off-topic :) )

I've never even tried a male Shepard xD I agree though, Hale's voice acting is amazing, it's rare to find someone who can pull off anything from a rousing speech to being drunk off her ass so well.

Miranda's voice is also impressive xD I think after Shepard, it's my personal favorite of the female ones. Accents are awesome, what can I say? For voices in general, there's also Garrus.

Just... Garrus.

First time I completed ME1, I left Kaidan on Virmire, and as a result, Ashley went all touchy feely on me. I didn't want that romance, but it was just there. Pissed me off. After I beat the game, I started a new file, and this time I left Ashley with the bomb. Hah! No romance. So I imported that savegame to ME2. Again I planned to avoid that nonbelievable romance crap.

After Miranda's loyalty mission, she got in that fight with Jack. I picked the defend-Jack option. Jack started coming on to me (at least this time I was able to succesfully reject her), and Mirand started giving me the silent treatment for the rest of the game. How unprofessional.

I thought "goddamn, I never asked for all this crap, I'm trying to save the universe here", and I folded. I talked Tali in the sack, so are you happy now, Bioware? I fucked one of your stupid aliens. Happy now?

The romances in this game are beyond stupid. Th ones in Baldur's Gate 2 were much better, and I didn't want those for a long time either.
