well, when its your turn what's stopping you pointing the gun at him? May as well just rob him seeing has he has $500m to spare and just handed you a gun. lol

OT: Probably not. If I was homeless or in severe financial debt? probably.

Then again, you dont know if this guy ACTUALLY has the money.

i would cheat however, i would do extensive research on where i could aim at my head and still survive if it fired.

haha just noticed i was not the only one thing about this:

against my head? I would aim at my cheek.
best case scenario, I get 500 mil without getting injured.
worst case scenario, I get 500 mil with a hole in my cheek...499.8 mil after plastic surgery.
oh just noticed the OP, had taken precautions against shenanigans of this sort. i would still do it. 500 mil is an obsene amount of money.

No i'm pretty sure my life is worth more than 500mil since this is a 50/50 chance of winning and loosing.
You win you become rich but being rich can be very boring since you become goaless depending on your self initiative which you may very well loose.
If you die you don't get anything haha.
how do you make a 5/6 chance of winning into 50%? : p your chance of surviving is conciderably higher than you dying.

To me, suicide's just a ***** move unless death by another source is imminent. I'd rather not have a 1 in 6 chance of being known as the dumbass who died in Russian Roulette.

Also, I don't have to shoot him to take the money, only if he tries to stop me.

i would, 1 in 6 is a good enough chance for 500 mil. if it was 50/50 then i wouldn't

If my life is worth $ 500 mil(my life costs much lower than that) then yes

I MEAN WHO WOULDN'T!?

we gamble with our lives everyday
playing Russian roulette is pretty much the same but without the annoying people and tedious work

Here's a treaser: if someone offers you 500 million for playing and winning Russian roulette, he's probably cheating and most likely just wants you assassinated. Edit: the money will probably be non-existing.

So, no, I will not do it. Not for double the money, because it makes the person less trustworthy, or half the money, which would make the person more trustworthy, but then the price isn't worth it.

I don't know. I mean, Russian roulette is not the same without a gun, and, baby, when it's love if it's not rough it isn't fun...

...I think I'll take the money. Serious deliberation and all that.

But the thing is, you still lost the game. Even though you survived, you are not getting the $ 500.000.000,-

i'd do it
for 500 million i'd never have to work ever again
and with a 5 out of 6 chance i live i don't think i can pass up the chance to be that rich
and even if i fail, chances are that i won't even realise by the time it's too late

My life is worth way more than mere money

I read a Darwin Award once about a guy who tried playing Russian Roulette with a semiautomatic pistol. Guess how that ended?
Oh I remember reading that one. Wasn't it that his wife was worried about the gun being unsafe or something so he pulled the clip out and, forgetting that is was a semi-automatic, put the gun to his and squeezed?

OT: Yeah I probably would. I might die but how do I know I'll be dead once I die? I have nothing to lose effectively. If I die, he goes to jail. If I win, he loses £500 million. Also it's a hypothetical.

Make it 1 Trillion and change it to African Roulette

But yeah i would do Russian Roulette
African Roulette? You mean like using a Striker Shotgun?

OT: That is a tough question, but I probably would. Just so that if I survived and anyone talked about how tough they were, I could be all like "Fuck You, I've played Russian Roulette!"

Where's the "I'd do it for a lot less" option?

Seriously, give me a hundredth of that and I'd still do it. 1/6? Not gonna happen to me!

You know, with modifications, you could do that:

The players deliver one shot at each other, the magazine is loaded by someone else beforehand with blanks and one real bullet that get mixed before the loading... then you could play Russian Roulette with a semi.

OT: Hmm... probably yes. Maybe I would throw in a "If I wind up dead, my family gets 100 million" or something like that just to make sure... but as of now, seeing that I'm single and would leave noone behind I have to care about... yes I'd do it.
