..........What?

This poll is just ridiculous....

They are not mutually exclusive, in my experience.

I have a feeling experience is something in short supply here.
I think you're missing the point.

You either get "meaningless" sex or you get love. Neither is required for the other.

OT: Sex, love is for pussies.
That's actually kind of sad.

In any case, this thread is retarded.

Honestly, I'd likely keep sex. I know it's the more cold option, but it's such a weirdly forceful compulsion that I couldn't imagine being comfortable never having sex again.

Every time I've loved, its ended badly. Every time I've had sex, I've enjoyed it. Based on pure experience, I'd have to go with sex...

Easy, love, no question.
I'm nonsexual, so sex holds no interest for me anyway.
But I do love my friends <3
I'd rather be able to love and care for them, than to be able to have sex, when I still have no interest in it >.<

My knowledge or sensibility of the world today leads me to say you can have sex without love, but you can't have love without sex. I mean, you can have a low-level, stripped down and sterile iteration, but that's not really love. Love is about vulnerability, and being sexually vulnerable (my phrasing is so hot) is part of the whole deal. Do you need it all the time? I think that's best answered per individual. I personally don't all the time, but that's just me.

Not even a question. Sex, hands down far and away winrar. I want nothing to do with this nuisance people call "love". Love is chemically induced euphoria, nothing more.

but, sex is an important part of any intimate relationship. It's almost impossible to have a loving relationship without sex.

I may never have had sex, but it doesn't matter to me. I'd choose love any time over sex.

Wtf is the point of love if you cannot express it both physically and emotionally? Love doesnt last if you cant express it. Your poll is silly.

If I can still masturbate I don't see the ultimatum here.
I think this guy won the thread.
Seriously though, Companionship is much more important in the long run (i.e. longer than about a week) than a good bonk once in a while in a loveless relationship.

From my experiences I've found Love to be a glorified term for having a very close friendship with someone who you also have sex with.
Therefore I'd choose sex, on the grounds that you get to have sex (always a bonus) and still sleep with, live with, have kids with etc. someone who you will form a very close and meaningful friendship with. Which is close enough to love in itself.

Love, don't even need to think about it. Any one that doesn't agree haven't experienced true love. Unfortunately, in my life right now I'm choosing sex. But I don't really have the option.
