It is a labourous task and I do not know why anyone would enjoy it.
Also, no matter how precise you are about it, there are always a few spiderlegs remaining.
It's just annoying.

I am indifferent to it. Just a couple of swishes with the electric razor and I'm good to go. That's more then clean enough for me, and I don't trust myself with holding a razor sharp blade next to my artery.

I hate doing it because there's other things that could be taking up my time. However I do like the 'sandpaper' effect you get after a couple of days.

I do it because it's necessary. It depends on what kind of mood I am in as to whether I find it calming.

Where's the "I don't mind it" option? Shaving doesn't cause me to enter some nirvana-esqe trance, but at the same time, it doesn't make me want to rip off somebody's head.

I don't particularily enjoy it but I don't hate it, either.

I assume the simple "No" is for that. At least that's why I voted for it.

You're doing it wrong then. Try different kinds of cream or gel.

But yeah, as people said, it just gets annoying. Every day wasting time on brushing teeth twice, flossing, shaving, mouthwash, showering, it adds up to more than an hour for me.

I find it a soothing, rewarding activity, it feels nice and I look a lot tidier after my face ( bar my sideburns) is clear of hair.

Plus I like to rub/stroke my smooth face after shaving, it is most satisfying, in a strange way... not THAT way you sick little man...

leg shaving is annoying as hell but I love how nice it feels in bed <3

I couldn't imagine being a guy and having to shave every day though. That'd piss me the fuck off.

My current razor is like 3-4 months old. I do not use it often and am too cheap to fork over $$20 for 4 freaking razor heads. Happily I only use it on my moustache otherwise it would hurt too much. I use a letric for everywhere else...
Yes... everywhere else.
Also I can not stand having a clean shaven face. The skin always feels icy and well, peoples faces without some facial hair seem to lack character.
Gillette and other razor companies actually design the blades to get used up as quickly as possible, I know an engineer who made the Gillette Contour I think it is, I'll ask him when I see him next.

Anyway, he got a pay off after creating a superb razor blade, it was too good, basically it fucked up their long time profit margin because the razor was so good no one bought more blades.
So all razors nowadays are shit, they work once and then they chop your face face.

Saying that, I dislike shaving, but I'm a handsome fellow once clean shaven, so its for special occasions I guess.

I dislike shaving, but I dislike having scruffy facial hair more.
I had a beard briefly, but that was een worse

So I just end up shaving every couple days : (

Heh, at least we don't have to shave our legs.

I'm sporting a 3 day (see patchy) beard at this point because I hate shaving so much. I hate the prepwork, I hate the act, I hate the cleanup, and I don't feel clean afterward I feel... raw and itchy. My facial hair is pretty soft so it doesn't itch too badly. My neck I shave every day though cuz I can't stand the hair that grows there.

I hate that too.

Wax strips for the win. Try not to squeal.

I'm confused. Am I doing it wrong because I don't like shaving, or because my face doesn't itch afterwards? And if it's the latter, why should I try different creams and gels to make my face itch?

Because suffering is manly! Rawwwrrgh!
Or because he misread your post. That's more probable, I'd say.

I swear, if the rest of me was as tough as my facial hair, I'd be a UFC fighter. It sucks from start to finish, and even after I shave, it feels like you can cut yourself on my face. Grrr...

Also, how/why has nobody picked up on this?
