Darlin you got to let me know
Should I shave or should I grow
If I shave there will be stubble
If I grow it will be double

Try having to body shave every day. you just have to shave your face, a reasonable small area. I give you no pity.

I hate shaving.

If I had to shave as soon as it was beginning to look bad, I'd be shaving every 2nd day or so. I know some people shave every day, and I feel for them. But as a result of me hating it, I only do it once every week. Sometimes even less.

I use a razor. I haven't tried an electric one yet, but I've heard good stuff about them.

Actually, I started out with an electric razor but have now completely switched to manual ones because they are a lot more efficient.

I shave for work, and work only. Almost never on my days off. Though I was lucky, and was dealt a genetically good hand for this... because I have very little facial hair anyway, so I don't usually look all scruffy without doing it.

I do not like it though. When I do shave, I always find it to be an inconvenience.

I don't enjoy the act, but it is nice to have my face not itch.
You're doing it wrong then. Try different kinds of cream or gel.

But yeah, as people said, it just gets annoying. Every day wasting time on brushing teeth twice, flossing, shaving, mouthwash, showering, it adds up to more than an hour for me.
I'm confused. Am I doing it wrong because I don't like shaving, or because my face doesn't itch afterwards? And if it's the latter, why should I try different creams and gels to make my face itch?
My bad, I failed at reading. I thought you said "its not nice to have a face itch," moved the not when I read it too fast.

I can let my face get prickly, but I don't feel clean and manly until my scalp is perfectly clean-shaven.

Those bastards. I should just get one of those olllllllllllllld razors that still work.
But ya, I have a gillette mach 3 turbo or whatever the hell it is called. The vibrating one (I wonder what chick in their development department thought that one up) and get this. The pack of razors are like $$5 dearer than the other non vibrating ones even though they both fit.
But they are the exact same head. The razor head does nothing, does not vibrate. The damn handle does. So everyone that buys the "vibrating" heads are just wasting their money.
Its a fucking travesty!, I actually did a joke article for KlubUniverse when Wilkinson sword done the Quatro razor with yes 4 blades after Gillette made the Mach 3 with you guessed it 3 fucking blades, in the article it stated that Gillette would not stand for the shit of being out done and they would make a 6 bladed razor because making a 5 bladed razor would not be adequate in the "who can piss higher" stakes....

Now I only fucked about with my article and I was taking the piss out of marketing departments, but what do gillette do? will I'll tell you what Gillette does, they go and make the Fusion 6 bladed razor, pricks went and took my piss take and actually make a damn razor with 6 blades?*

*for closer comfort

also, as seen on the advert, the last blade is the one that cuts closest, so why does it need all those blades, surely just put the last blade on, instead of stepping the shave just make one blade that cuts close. No irritation that way! just one blade... oh wait... look whats this

I makes me feel like a bad ass. The only problem is that I have a cleft chin so it's difficult to get a decent shave on my chin without cutting my chin up.

Shaving is to me a bit like brushing teeth: It's just something you do twice a day. No emotion attached to it.

But I do realize what you mean. FOr me, working with my hands by say carwing wood or fixing my bicycle when I'm in no hurry is sort of relaxing and calming.

I'm blaming it on doing a non-strenuous physical task requiring only some concentration that simply allows the 'higher functions' of the brain to just wander around in my head.

I hate shaving with a passion. I normally leave my beard to grow for about 3 months, shave it all off and repeat. Got a new job recently wihch means I'm now going to have to keep it tidy, but thats preferrable to shaving everyday.

I dislike shaving as well; in fact, it's been 9 months since I had a proper shave. Before that it was 9 months since my last shave. Let me tell you I never want to go through that again, ever. It took me three hours to shave of all my facial hair, I went through two Gillette fusion razors and nine bic razors! This is after trimming it down with scissors... I also cut myself to ribbons as well it wasn't pretty.

Although shaving is annoying, I would have to shave twice a day, if I wanted to be clean shaven. Having a beard does require allot of time and effort as well. No it does honestly. You have to wash it like your hair, I wash mine every morning. It is also a good idea to groom it after meals and drinks like mochas and Guinness. If it's long enough you have to brush and comb it, as it can become knotted and tangled. You need to have it cut and trimmed regularly to keep it neat and tidy. Especially the moustache, as it can and will get caught in your mouth whilst you eat. Actually all you clean shaven people out there probably have it easy.

As to why I have a beard, it?s a combination on things really. The main one is laziness I just couldn?t be bothered with shaving, it?s too much like hard work. The other reason is because I like the look and I suit a beard. Yes it can be annoying, and I do get abuse because of it, I?ve probably lost out on jobs because of it as well. But I like it and at the end of the day that?s all that matters, right? Plus it?s worth it for the odd compliment and looking like a Viking :D.

No, not at all. Well, after I'm done I suppose I enjoy the feeling of newfound smoothness (and also having gotten it over with). But it is a messy and often frustrating task.
