I honestly did not think I would end up with her number, and if I just said "who?" she probably would've just walked away embarrassed. I really didn't think I had any chance at all with her at that point and I was expecting her to figure me out pretty quickly and have a laugh about it, but the smalltalk was mostly very broad impersonal things, so past memories never came up.

Yeah there's no way I could get away with being Nick for too long. Main issue being that I don't know her name. It probably wouldn't get me to the point of getting laid, but it would definitely turn out.... interesting. I guess the main dilemma is not only what i think i can get away with, but more what i want to do.

You should come clean, if she is actually into you and not the guy she meet some time ago, everything will be cool and you can keep the relationship going. I'm no expert but I recommend throwing something like this in your 'coming clean' conversation.

"I realize it was wrong of me and I wanted to tell you the truth as soon as I could."

This way, you at least look mature enough to admit you did something wrong. This is pretty much your only way of getting a legitimate relationship at this point.

Side note: You don't want to risk 'Nick' actually showing up one of the days you're pretending to be him. Could get dicey.
