drinking causes a ton of harm, it is not a completely harmless drug by any stretch of the imigination, nm that it can damage your liver and other organs and it just not extreme use that causes damage any over casual and tempered drinking can cause harm.

smoking should not be illegal, drinking should not be illegal, marijuana should not be illegal, adults should be able to do or use what they want in the privacy of their own homes as long as they are not getting piss drunk or stoned and hurting their spouse or children.

far as taxes go cigs are already grossly overtaxed, god we are reaching a point in this country where pretty soon marijuana will be cheaper to buy off the street than it would be to buy carton of cigs.

I think the laws and regulations involving smoking are fine as they are, I don't smoke because I'm asthmatic, but I don't hold myself above anybody who does.

I think it either should be illegal or made so it doesn't kill you. I just find it a rather ugly habbit and it causes a lot of hardships. I know it's addicting, but enough is enough. I know about 12 people who have died from cancer due to smoking, and that makes me really against it besides the obvious.

If people want to kill their lungs, then that is their choice. There's no way to not be aware of how bad it is for you. It shouldn't be illegal, but I don't want to breathe that crap in. I'd prefer if it was kept at home. In a small attempt to deter people from buying it, I say heavily taxed. It's a disgusting habit.

yes, people make fuzz about every single little problem which makes 'the government waste THEIR (tax) money". Yet everybody forgets the shitload of money being poured into healthcare (in my country everybody gets it as its government funded). Newsflash, cancerpatients cost alot of healthcare money which comes out of taxes which comes out of your pocket.

So ? smoking still okay with everybody ? Not with me, because that means MY money is being wasted on smokers for something they brought upon themselves.

My proposal ? Either a) ban smoking or b) remove ALL healthcare support AND life insurence (because imo smoking = suicide) of verified smokers.

One time I was in a public bathroom when a gross looking guy walked in spit a gross yellowish blob into the sink across form mine. I almost barfed just from the sight of it. He was obviously a smoker.
