Halo meets Pikmin.

You play as a Prophet whose warship crashes on a human controlled world. If you have any hope of leaving you have no choice but to go out and look for the scattered parts of your ship. Armed only with a hover chair and the unwavering loyalty of your henchmen, fight the beasts of the planet as well as the evil humans with their sinister Spartans and marine minions. Gather up and throw wave after wave after wave of grunts, jackals, and elites at them! Collect the spoils of victory! Vaporize anything foolish enough to get in your way!

It would be awesome. You know this.

The storyline should end, but there are a handfull of games they could still make. Some would prefer a MMO, others would say to retry the RTS genre, seeing as how the first didn't do so well. If anyone else ever played "Empire at War" for the PC, I always thought that a space based RTS would be cool to try for Halo.I think that Bungie has kinda overlooked those massive ships that both sides have been blasting each other to hell with. Thats the only thing I still hope to see.

I'm a massive Halo fan, and I'm saying it shouldn't go on. Let it rest. Amazing games that broke records and set new standards in FFS. Let's not ruin it.

Reach DLC on the other hand... Yes, please!

Bungie ended it for a reason. let sleeping dogs lie.
Bungie might have ended it, but do you really think 343 is going to let there Money cow sleep?
Not a chance in hell. They shouldn't, but its gonna happen.

I played the first one and left it at that, and I'm happy with my decision to do so. That said, I won't be upset should further incarnations turn up.

It made some good games and had a good run. Bungie had the right idea for ending it. But those Microsoft bastards (pardon my language) had to go and say: "No we're money grabbing assholes and it's giving us lots of money so let's make bad spin-offs!" Idiots.
