PC. Mods.

Also I think the second choice on your poll should read Xbox.

If my computer could handle it, I'd get it for PC, for the reason bob mentioned. If you're confident in your machine, do that.

^This^ A lot of the new improvements and features in another Bethesda game, Fallout: New Vegas, were based on mods for its predecessor, which shows you how much mods can add to a game with a decent SDK and good community.

360. After my experience in afew games whos controls would be similar to Skyrim on PC. I much prefer it on a console. Though way less mods will suck I still got afew hundred hours out of Oblivion so I'm sure I'll be fine.

XBox. I'm working with a PoS Dell Laptop. If I tried to run Skyrim on here my computer would start crying and then explode, taking me with it.

As for you...depends on the computer. It's better there...IF it can handle it. If not the safe road is on the XBox or PS3.

You should buy it for whatever plaform you are most comfotable with and think will lead to the best gaming experience for your personal style

User created mods tend to suck. Sure there's the inevitable ultra hardcore survivalist mod where you have to eat and drink regularly and whatnot, but they usually come out years after release. It depends on how much of a fan of the game you plan to be.

If you think you WILL be playing it in 2 years, definitely PC. Also, Xbox loading times on Bethsoft games tends to take ages, so if that's an issue, PC as well.

See, i would get it on xbox(and I am) because I'm a console gamer. but as I see it the big advantages are this:
Xbox: it was designed primarily on 360, so it'll prolly be less glitchy
PC: Eventually, the community will come up with a massive amount of mods.

The other reason I play on xbox: I don't care at all about mods, so it's a no-brainer for me

I am horrible with first person games on PC. I have a great gaming PC that I do get a lot of use out of for things like SC2, Dark Spore, Total War games, etc but most "action" games I end up getting for my 360. For instance, I know it's a shame but i'm getting Deus Ex Human Revolution for my 360 instead of PC because I just suck using mouse and keyboard in first person. My aim and reaction time is just awful. And I will probably end up doing the same thing for skyrim.

Does anyone know if xbox 360 controller support will be baked into either of these games for PC (that is, skyrim and human revolution)? I'm not talking about like configuring my controller to execute keyboard commands, I'm talking like baked in as Alpha Protocol for PC had...
