I voted "I love them equally, even ... " because I don't know what this poll is about. I love them equally, not at all, that is :)

As much as I like the 9th doctor, the 10th incarnation just had so much more swagger, and a suit.

Love them all, but Tennant's Doctor stands out as the must human (and most enjoyable) one.

For me, David was the best of those 3. Christopher was pretty good too, loved him as the "dark" doctor.

As for Matt, I don't like him at all.

Eccleston, he was what the later doctors often claimed to be.
I greatly dislike Matt Smith.

They're ALL good.
They all have their "moments".
They all have their "qualities".
They all have their "low points".
Matt Smith isn't.
Matt Smith doesn't.
Matt Smith hasn't regenerated.
All of Matt Smith.

This is why people make these threads. The series has degraded to a point where I just watch it to see Rory. I like Rory.

David Tennants Dr. Who was my favorite. I will always have a special place in my heart for Tom Baker, since he was the Dr. I grew up with, but Tennant rules the roost for me.

Eccelston is my favorite but Matt Smith is rapidly becoming a very close second. I know I'm weird but after Tennant lost Rose, the writing made him get on my nerves all the time. His acting was always amazing but the writing killed his version of the Doctor for me.

all three of the new doctors have brought something knew to the show. Christopher was at his best when he was angry, what with him being the Time Lord that killed all the other Time Lords having that affect on you. David still had that fury but didn't really use it; he was more of the "you don't want to make me hurt you" kind of person, as seen with the Family. Matt doesn't really have either anger. He has more of an easy going personality that fits with the Doctor. He also knows what he's doing a few steps ahead of anyone which fits the Doctor mold. If I had to pick one, I'd have to go with David

I'm not too sure about Smith, he's too daft. I like some of the storylines they've had since Moffat took over but it also seems to be a bit too childish at times and whilst Smith has a fun persona, he just seems a bit... stupid. I think that Tenant was very good in the role and so was Eccleston although Tenant had more time to develop which is why he stands out a lot more. Tenant is probably the best of the 3 imo but I think they've all done a decent job.

For me, the Best 'single' Doctor of the revamped Doctor Who has to be Tennant, he really picked up the ball running from Eccleston and made the character his own, by the end of his tenure I was seeing him as 'the' Doctor.
Smith however I think has been part of the best ensemble, I think Matts Doctor, Amy and Rory (who's grown on me immensely after what felt like his intrusion in the first of Matt's seasons) are better as a TEAM then the random assortments Tennant was stuck with. As such, whilst Tennant is perhaps the best on his own, I think Matt Smith wins out for me!

Is there an ongoing plot to Dr.Who or are they just doing random stuff every episode?
If there is one, could you explain it to me?

Tennant and Eccleston are fairly equal in my mind (taking into account greater opportunity for character development for Tennant)

i'm still not that big a fan of matt smith... he has his moments, and it doesn't help that i don't like the new asthetic of this incarnation in general (plus he has to be compared to Tennant) but perhaps he'll redeem himself

Tennant, I guess. I quite liked Eccleston, too, but he didn't really get the time to shine. That said, The Empty Child arc is probably my favourite Doctor Who story ever.

I didn't like Eccleston at all. But Matt Smith and David Tennant are so awesome in such different ways. I love how Smith makes the doctor so goofy and weird. But I really love Tennants way too. As someone said, Tennant is the person in between, serious but funny, instead of only serious or only funny.. BUT Matt Smith's goofyness and lack of seriousness is really entertaining enough to make him and Tennant a tie.
So, my choice in the poll was, after having done some thinking, "I love them equally (except Eccleston)".

That poll's a little biased against 9, don't you think?

And Pertwee. I don't care what you say about your fancy 'revival doctors', Venusian Karate > all.
I don't like 9. His outfit was boring. That's why it's unbalanced. :D
