Me: Wanna fuck?
Girl: No!
Me: Wait! I don't think you heard me correctly...
Girl: Oh, I think I did...
Me: Fine then, what did I say?
Girl: "Wanna fuck?"
And that, Your Honor, is why it wasn't rape.

OT: No, I've only played the Bulletstorm demo, so I just molest people.

E: Although I will admit I've killed alot of people with a dildo. But I can't think of a single gta type game where the peds don't deserve every violent end they get.

Playing GTA or Bulletstorm does not make me want to go out and rape people.

Harvest Moon, on the other hand...
See, for me it was always Tetris....
I am now in the process of constructing an analog clock face with the word "Tetris" replacing each number...

Oh, my! Look at the time!
...I'm in trouble now, aren't I? XD

Where's my "Yes" option? :(
You have to rape the no option before it appears. It's like a test for us...I passed and figures I can help out the others :p

The correlation between video games and rape is preposterous. Me being a rapist has nothing to do with my game playing.
I tried to "like" this... stupid Facebook.
I'd rather you didn't. Someone might think I'm not joking.
Nah, no one's THAT oblivious to sarcasm.

I hope.
OMG THAT GUYS A RAPIST??? HOW SCUREY!

It's the cycle of life. People are born, they find something cool that previous people didn't find. Older people refuse change. Older people die. Cool thing is accepted and hence no longer cool. Repeat.

I have played a video game sometime in the last ten years, so yes. I am clearly a rapist. But in all seriousness, I am not, and the media stations are moronic imbeciles whose death would make the world a better place.

I'm really more of a "rapist who plays games" then a "gamer that rapes". There's a distinction okay.

I have to find this most recent clown(or if you're feeling saucy "psychiatrist") amusing. It's great how she pretty well abandoned her claims in an attempt to "defend" them.

I can relate. As a serial killer, I play games to unwind. the last thing I want to do is bring my work home with me.

Even if it's a mock up, that saying's been around since the early 18th century.

We aren't defined by the Fantasy environments we play in! We don't behave in a Fictional universe like we do in the Physical World.
I love to make a bloody mess of the citizens of New York City in Prototype, but I couldn't do anything of the sort in the Real World.
I'll inflict all the extra pain possible to and kill as many people as possible in the Mass Effect games, but I don't look for opportunities to hurt people in Reality, its all for fun. and Frankly, ITS HILARIOUS TO DO, thats what games are for, FUN

FUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNN

thats my take on it...

Well, I would be a rapist but I just spend too much time playing videogames so I don't have enough time to rape people.
That makes perfect sense, I wholeheartedly agree.

On a more serious note the coralation between games and crime is nonexistence as a very large majority of gamers know that games are an escape from reality, we know that if we 'beat hookers to death with dildos' we will get caught the police will not give up after a five minute chase.
To Fox's credit I can understand why they can 'attack' games like GTA because they might seem too real for young gamers who shouldn't be playing it anyway but Bulletstorm is so over-the-top people will know it's wrong, God help us if Fox look deeply at other games.

Arkham Asylum - Dress up in leather and beat up homosexuals #

Uncharted 1 - Enter a wet t-shirt contest

Bioshock - Do unthinkable things to little girls

Heavy Rain - Become a serial killer

Saints Row 2 - Strip off and thrust in the faces of old ladies.

It's all ridiculous, people just overeacting.

# The Joker's believed to be gay that wasn't a homophobic remark.

There really needs to be a sub-forum entitled, "I put on my Robe and Wizard's Hat".

You know, for the...explicit role-playing.

Guys, could i ask.

What happened to the world?

Im pretty sure people liked eachother once (maybe i played too much minecraft) but why are gamers getting such a bad rap?

The people that never play games choose our laws over them, how do they understand what is needed? anyone ever seen that GTA 4 news clip? (Cue American Newsreader shouting to camera "KILLING HOOKERS WITH DILDOS?!") how many of you actually beat a hooker to death with a dildo?.. ok, thats all of us, but still we arent monsters!

No-one buys Mass Effect and goes out raping women, no, they sit for a moment contemplating the moral choices they made and feeling slightly cheesed off that they didnt have a better ending after that epic boss fight.

what are your views of the gamers portrayal in the news?
Finally some incontrovertible proof that Fox News is full of shit.

You've done the world a service. Bravo.

Its the enemy of the generation. There was rock and roll, there was TV, there was Heavy Metal, now there's violent video games. Every generation needs a target for overly protective parents and biased media to whine about.

I don't know how many times this needs to be said. There is a label suggesting that kids do not play certain games and lists all of the reasons why. The game outright warns you that bad things will happen in the game, so why does everyone get surprised when bad things happen in the game?

The old people will die, the young people will become the dominant generation, society will shift, games will be seen as interactive media. Happens with most new media.
