I love coffee. Coffee is my best friend. Nothing like a delicious hot beverage on a morning to make you feel good. Or any time of day really.

Can't even stand the smell of coffee.
If I can wake up at 4:50AM every school day for the past three days without coffee, then you don't need it either.
I couldn't even wake up at 4:50 PM without a minimum of two cups of coffee...

I've tried liking it, it's just never gonna happen. The smell alone is just a major turn-off. Nah, tea for me, thanks!

I love all shades and varieties of coffee, except for the iced stuff. Want my coffee steaming hot. Other than that, I can take or leave milk, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper, rosemary, cream or honey in my coffee. It's all good. Prefer Turkish coffee, to be perfectly honest. It's got kind of an herbal smell and flavour to it.

As for quantities, a former housemate of mine summed it up quite nicely when he happened upon me cooking one day and said:"Careful you don't cut yourself or we'll have coffee spouting all over the place." I gave him a confused look and he explained:"Considering how much of that junk you drink, I refuse to believe there's anything else left in your system. No blood, just coffee."

I love the smell of it, but don't like the taste. I'll just stick to my Earl Grey, thanks.

What about Coffee? We've had many threads about beverages and such, but I've never heard about coffee here on the Escapist.

It's really a very cool drink, it's been shown to reduce the risk of Type 2 Diabetes and some forms of Cancers, and can keep you on your toes for several hours in the wee morning.

Coffee is also very versatile, it can be drunk hot, cold, iced, sweet, bitter, salty (though, this is not advised), sweet with a hint of bitter, bitter with a hint of sweet, and the list goes on... Shrimp sandwiches, shrimp stew (I hope that reference gets noticed, otherwise, I'll feel pretty stupid).

What do you think about coffee?
Not really a fan of coffee. It taste pretty crummy in its "black" version, it stunts growth, and I find it causes a dependency in people to wake up if drunk regularly. Juice works just as well, and gets my digestive system in gear, making me more ready for the day than coffee.

And what about shrimp stew?

Can't stand coffee. Hate the smell, hate the taste, hate how long it takes to make. I much prefer tea.

I do love me some Coffee, of course it may have to do with my Family Tradition

You see, the day after someone in my family is born, they get a sip of Coffee, and I've been drinking it ever since.

I enjoy it in many forms, and have been able to drink it Black since I was a Lad, which was Surprising to many Adults.

It took a trip to Belgium where the tea is awful for me to develop a taste for it, but it's nice. I drink it like I drink my tea: black, 2 sugars.

I prefer tea, but I like a cappuccino every now and then. Then again I never really drank good coffee, I might like it.

The smell of ground coffee beans is orgasmic though.

I like a coffee now and then, but don't find it does anything for me. I can wake up at 5AM after 4 hours of sleep, head off for school and not have an eyelid droop, so caffeine really has nothing to offer me. A good coffee is pretty tasty sometimes, but only if it's black. No sugar, no cream, no milk, no sweetener, just a nice black coffee once every few weeks.

Can I ask a question?

Can I love you and add you to my friend list? There's so much win in that post.
