Can I love you and add you to my friend list? There's so much win in that post.
I dunno about it stunting growth, but even so, most teenagers are about as tall as they need to be by around 15-18, so how harmful could coffee really be?The Heik said:Not really a fan of coffee. It taste pretty crummy in its "black" version, it stunts growth, and I find it causes a dependency in people to wake up if drunk regularly. Juice works just as well, and gets my digestive system in gear, making me more ready for the day than coffee.Eggsnham said:What about Coffee? We've had many threads about beverages and such, but I've never heard about coffee here on the Escapist.
It's really a very cool drink, it's been shown to reduce the risk of Type 2 Diabetes and some forms of Cancers, and can keep you on your toes for several hours in the wee morning.
Coffee is also very versatile, it can be drunk hot, cold, iced, sweet, bitter, salty (though, this is not advised), sweet with a hint of bitter, bitter with a hint of sweet, and the list goes on... Shrimp sandwiches, shrimp stew (I hope that reference gets noticed, otherwise, I'll feel pretty stupid).
What do you think about coffee?
And what about shrimp stew?
I see, so you're at risk. Or maybe I just suck at interpreting thingsKhitten said:Yup, without it we can die! <.<Eggsnham said:Best excuse ever for drinking alcohol.

Anyways, I'm going to go and assume that you have Diabetes via genetics or infection?
Anyway no, do not have diabetes but considering type 2 can be caused by high fat diets, obesity and a sedentary lifestyle and since I am a total sugar addict as soon as I stop doing shit my high fat and sugar rich diet will cause me to get obese so I very well could get diabetes. XD
Seriously, I am talking like 4-5 teaspoons of sugar in my coffee. Or should that be 1 teaspoon of coffee in my liquid sugar...
