Exactly what he said. I never liked the Beatles, and the Stones are better, but The Kinks are amazing.GundamSentinel said:God save the Kinks!
Okay, okay, out of those two I'd say the Stones. More my kind of music.

was that in one of the band members biographys? because i read that in i think Keith Richerds book and he said after Charlie punches him Mick starts sliding down the table and out the window Keith grabbes him and pulls him in when Charlie asks why he saved him Keith says because Mick's wearing my wedding jacket!Superior Mind said:Beatles for me but the Stones are great too.
Gotta love Charlie Watts and how he deals with Mick. Great story about Mick getting drunk at a hotel bar and running his mouth off about how great he was. Mick rings up Charlie, who was in bed asleep at the hotel, and says to him something along the lines of "Hey where's my drummer get down here!"
Charlie casually gets up. Gets dressed. Makes his way down to the bar, finds Mick and floors him with one punch to the jaw. He points down at him in the silenced bar
"I'm not your drummer, you're my singer."
Charlie makes his way back upstairs and goes back to bed.
