I actually did consider having England be its own category and in retrospect it might have been a good idea to have done so but...well Ill get more into that when I reveal what my reasons for having the USA as its own poll option are.

New Zealand. How come NZ isn't on there?? :(
Isn't New Zealand considered part of the continent of Australia and Oceania (I called it Australia here for short)?

Just because it's the "biggest", doesn't mean that it should be on the poll listed on its own when everything else is so generalized.
If the EU was a nation it would have a population of roughly 450,000,000 (As of October 2006). The United States has a population of 306,000,000 (as of April 2008). Texas is bigger than any country in Europe, but it has a much smaller population density. Beyond Japan (possibly) some european countries are the most densly populated on earth, the United Kingdom and Germany spring to mind.

On its own Germany has a population of aproximatly: 82,000,000 (as of Jan 2009)
On its own the UK has a population of 61,000,000 (as of January 2009)
Together Germany and the UK have a population equal to not quite half that of the United States. These are two countries that together would probably be roughly the size of two of the USA's states. Size does not dicatate "size", so to speak.

Oh and I'm "European".
First, why is European in double quotes?

And second, didn't everything you just say go directly against what I said?
I was talking that size doesn't matter, and you start talking about (dense) population 'n sheet.

Wow, chill. I would think that the OP is from the USA and wondered how many people didn't live there. So, they catagorized it by itself.
The USA is the 3rd most populous country in the world as well as being the 3rd largest landwise. Keep in mind there are only EIGHT spots on a poll.
Why does everyone think I'm mad and I should chill?
It's just a forum, it's all fun and games.

If the US gets added as well as being in North America I demand Britain be added separately too!
Totally agree.

However, by that you could argue that every country (or whatever Britain is - I doubt we are a country cos what are England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland then?) should be seperate - and 8 options won't cover them all.
Yeah! Totally! Scandinavia as a seperate poll-option!
Scandinavia for poll-option!

Me? I'm from Norway. Moss, actually. I'll say it out loud for all of you to hear, because ... Well, I'm on the vessel, so hah!

But it's kinda crappy being from the "cute little town, the rest of the country notice all the flaws in". Like the moron-poet screwing our .. Princess, I guess. Or wait. Didn't she deny that? Screw that. I don't pay attention to our royalties anymore. They've got no real function. Oh and mister Bain. An angry police-officer. You do not want to get in his way. Or .. Well kind, in the means of American terms. I mean he's never injured anyone!. I'm sorry I missused that term so deerly, fellow escapists. Oh .. And the smell .. Of course, the smell. Well shut up! It's almost gone!

Oceania is the Continent, Australia is just the biggest constituent country in it. Calling New Zealanders Australian is like Calling Canadians American.
