Isn't New Zealand considered part of the continent of Australia and Oceania (I called it Australia here for short)?PoisonUnagi said:New Zealand. How come NZ isn't on there??![]()

Woo, Minnesota. Where every winter the roads turn shit, and get repairs for the next 13 months...Siuss said:By the way, Minnesota, United States, North America.
First, why is European in double quotes?Archaeology Hat said:If the EU was a nation it would have a population of roughly 450,000,000 (As of October 2006). The United States has a population of 306,000,000 (as of April 2008). Texas is bigger than any country in Europe, but it has a much smaller population density. Beyond Japan (possibly) some european countries are the most densly populated on earth, the United Kingdom and Germany spring to mind.Fraught said:Just because it's the "biggest", doesn't mean that it should be on the poll listed on its own when everything else is so generalized.
On its own Germany has a population of aproximatly: 82,000,000 (as of Jan 2009)
On its own the UK has a population of 61,000,000 (as of January 2009)
Together Germany and the UK have a population equal to not quite half that of the United States. These are two countries that together would probably be roughly the size of two of the USA's states. Size does not dicatate "size", so to speak.
Oh and I'm "European".
Why does everyone think I'm mad and I should chill?ace_of_something said:Wow, chill. I would think that the OP is from the USA and wondered how many people didn't live there. So, they catagorized it by itself.Fraught said:Just because it's the "biggest", doesn't mean that it should be on the poll listed on its own when everything else is so generalized.
The USA is the 3rd most populous country in the world as well as being the 3rd largest landwise. Keep in mind there are only EIGHT spots on a poll.

Yeah! Totally! Scandinavia as a seperate poll-option!Geek@Heart said:Totally agree.Danzaivar said:(...)
If the US gets added as well as being in North America I demand Britain be added separately too!
However, by that you could argue that every country (or whatever Britain is - I doubt we are a country cos what are England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland then?) should be seperate - and 8 options won't cover them all.
Oceania is the Continent, Australia is just the biggest constituent country in it. Calling New Zealanders Australian is like Calling Canadians American.Seekster said:Isn't New Zealand considered part of the continent of Australia and Oceania (I called it Australia here for short)?PoisonUnagi said:New Zealand.
