How do you even define spawnkilling?

I don't think anyone's in a position to dictate a minimum time to wait before you can kill someone.

Step one: Other guy dies.
Step two: You or one of your teammates wait at his spawn location.
Step three: Other guy dies again.
Step four: Repeat steps one through three until your opponents ragequit.

I don't stare at spawnpoints and wait for someone but if someone spawns in front of me when I'm running through the other teams spawn I will kill them.

Yes, only in Insurgency, because if we reach their spawn, then they are not working as a team and deserve it.

I do it occasionally in Halo 3, but only by accident.

It gets a bit annoying in grand theft auto IV when your playing a co-op game like Deal Breaker, and some jackass throws a genade into the garage when the rest of the team's in there after you've spawned.

I think it is an acceptable strategy in deathmatch, but in objective type games when people do it and DO NOT complete the objective it is completely uncalled for and really just show that those people are freaking jerks.

Spawn camping is one of the premiere strategies in a lot of FPS games, particularly in TDM. Call of Duty is especially spawn-campy. It's just the way the game is designed. If you don't want to get spawn killed, don't let the other team set up a spawn camp on you.

Typically, they spawn and kill ME because I was too busy shooting someone else.

I don't usually spawnkill, but a friend of mine once made a map (CoD2) where it was impossible to not spawnkill, it was a box with a 2x2 floor(one tile being just big enough for one spawnpoint) on all 4 spaces was a spawnpoint.

This happens to me a lot in CoD: WaW, due to the luck of the spawn.

It's not luck of the spawn. It's called nemesis killcam and it is EVIL
