That's because it's all new. Wait until the game is a few months old and you'll be scolded for not knowing your class inside out.

It seems to be the trend these days anyway.
except for wow, where if you tell someone that you haven't run zg for a year or more they'll tell you your a nooby ****** because it's new

when infact it was a classic instance that got removed, and replaced and all the new players immediately get their kickers in a twist when you can prove you know so, so sooooo much more about the game than they could possibly fathom when they pretend to know everything after 6 months like the pretentious little queens they are

ie, everyone scolds you until you ram the schooling pencil so far up their rear end they simultaneously cry and bleed

but then, it's the internet so what can you do eh ?
~sigh~

This poll lacks the "Yes I'm buying, but certainly not preordering after an incident with Best Buy" option.
I take that one.
After all, I'm a fan of Star Wars, a fan of RPGs, and a fan of Bioware.
This is my thing.

Captcha: Ald Larcat. Normally I put something clever to go with this, but I can't think of anything besides Lara Croft as a Cat.

ahem, it actually does..
at first glance it may not be obvious, but that's what the
'nope, never again.. never!!' option was intended for
remember the question was
'who pre-ordered, and how stoked are you'

i'll change it, but only because you have a fluttershy.

I'm really happy that TOR doesn't use PUGs. Having to actually look for people makes for better groups. Every group I had was generally friendly and would crack jokes and such. All in all a really good experience.

That doesn't bother me. I'm pretty good at learning the classes in the few MMOs I've played (FFXI and WoW). I'm still working on figuring out the class I was playing in the beta even now that it's over. And I think I have it figured out a bit. I generally taught myself how to play every character and class I ever played. Except for Mage in WoW. I did have to look that one up.

But, I'm the guy that will complain about the guy complaining about the "noob". I'll take the side of the New player over the experienced one. If those people are so great, why don't they use that knowledge and experience to teach the new guy so he can play better? That's my view. Need advice or help? I'll happily lend an ear or a hand. Buck the trend!
